We will be at the parks 11/18 and11/19 for an adults only trip (first time). We are focusing on going slower and relaxing so I wanted to book at least one sit down dining experience (never done it). My priorities were BB or LL but after months of trying it isn't working out. So I booked River Belle Terrace for dinner around 4:00 PM since it was the only place that has had availability for more than a few seconds. I was wondering what people's experience has been here? I think the only time I have been there was when I made a wrong turn and quickly realized I couldn't cut through. Also, we will need vegetarian and gluten free. Will they have good options?

It's awful. Honestly, probably the worst TS restaurant in all of DLR. I feel like it's the Tony's Town Square of Disneyland.

I'd cancel the reservation. It's primarily a meat based place and they don't have good alternative options. You can do better at so many other restaurants. Try the Downtown Disney places. You don't need advance reservations for those on a weekday for lunch or dinner, just walk up and put your name in for a table. I like Naples, Tortilla Joe's, Catal, and Ralph Brennan's.

If you want something more low key in the parks, go to Docking Bay 7 in Galaxy's Edge. They have good vegetarian options.

I agree with DLgal. RBT is pretty bad and I would skip it. Keep watching for reservation cancellations at other locations (especially in the couple of days leading up to your trip) or consider just joining the walk up lists in the app for CO, CCT or LL boardwalk dining when you're there.

Thank you. Does Docking Bay 7 require a reservation? I thought it was QS, but I just looked and it does look like a restaurant.

Thank you. It looks like I will be canceling. Lol

I agree, River Belle terrace isn't very good. It's unfortunate, because it's such a great location! But I would pass on that one. I hope they change their menu some day.

The one thing I liked about River Belle Terrace is their Fantasmic dining package. It was lower tier than Blue Bayou but it was right by the Rivers of America. I don't know if I'd dine there if it weren't for that.

It’s a shame because pre covid (well 4-5 years ago), it was pretty good and they had a GREAT breakfast. Would love going to early morning, ride for an hour or so and then go there for a huge Mickey pancake, eggs, bacon, all fresh cooked as you were going through the line. It was a fun place with wonderful seating for people watching. That’s back when you could just grab a table and wait for Fantasmic while enjoying a funnel cake.

Then, a few years ago, they completely changed the menu. ALL MEAT - yuck. I think it was all barbeque. Stuff they could precook and then I think the last time we went in 2019, no more breakfast at all.

So sad.

This used to be a great QS place. I loved those hand carved meat sandwiches and sides. So great. And the breakfast was amazing. They ruined this place when they converted it to TS.

I ate there a couple of weeks ago and loved my meal, but I agree, if you are looking for vegetarian options, you'll probably be disappointed. It looks like they mostly serve barbecue food.

I canceled the reservation based on all this feedback. Mouse Dining alerted me to BB availability, but it was gone by the time I could get to the app. They go so quickly.

They do have a tofu option - I have never had it (will probably be trying it during December trip). But it is unusual to find tofu on the menu anywhere at DL so worth a mention. And it's not like many of the restaurants in the Parks have multiple vegetarian options.

Not sure about the current menu. Before the shut down, I had a good tofu meal and a good salad for a meal.

We ate there in October and DH and I both thought our food was good, but DD is a vegetarian and she wasn't a fan. DH had the Skillet Mac and Cheese and that is what I would get next time. The service was great and they were allowing substitutions (unlike many of the other DLR restaurants right now). DD liked the house salad and the tater bites, but she did not like the BBQ Tofu--- she didn't like the taste of the BBQ sauce. Now-- if you are a big BBQ fan, maybe you would feel differently.

Guess I am in the minority but we loved our meal recently at Riverbelle!
