I was just watching Rita Crosby, and was wondering what is wrong with her voice? She sounds like she has severe allergies or has early emphysema. I thought it was a bad cold when I first saw her a few years ago, but she always sounds the same. Has anyone ever read anything about it? I could not find anything doing a google search...

I have noticed that as well. I think she is a good reporter and very popular with MSNBC but I have the hardest time listening to her voice. I actually always end up changing the Channel. SORRY, RITA but it is uncomfortable to listen to your voice.

It must just be her voice. It's been like that ever since I can remember. Alaywas sounds like she's out of breath. I try & listen to her but it gets annoying after a while.
