7:35 thru “no bag line” security and in line at the gates - line length just past center of Esplanade. Surprised as gates have already opened and it is a Monday. And it is not EMH at DL either.

As mentioned above I am here mainly to try and get a BG for this evening. So shooting for backup BG 100 if possible.

Loving all the updates this morning. Last 3 Mondays have seen backups last an hour, seventeen minutes, and 20 minutes. Will be curious to see what today brings...

I've seen in a few FAQS that if you leave DL and then immediately enter DCA within 15 minutes it can cause problems. Can anyone confirm/deny this? If so is there a proper method to do this?
We have EMH from the Grand on 2 of the days we are there, and were hoping to enter DL and then go to DCA for a bit before park opening and then try to get the boarding passes while at DCA. Is this feasible?

73 backup bg - DS got. My phone had issues but we used his watch for countdown and tried a second too early had to back out of app and re-open. Hopefully ride is up and and gets to back ups

Playing along at home, I got my approach to work on my Samsung Galaxy S7. Two minutes before I clicked into FOM, then let the phone go to sleep. At 10 seconds 'til, I brought up the clock ticking in seconds, and at 8:00:00 I unlocked the phone with my fingerprint. The screen appeared with a grey button, but then refreshed and showed red almost immediately.

I was also able to click into My Status and get an active button.

Not sure if there is a speed benefit over sitting on the home page, since I was using my fingerprint to unlock it took a second. Perhaps if I take the lock off so I can just swipe the screen it will be faster...but I still think best practice for my phone will be to sit on the front page and tap FOM at OPO.

Got BG 92. Waited on purpose until 8:01am to try for a BG so I could get a later group.

Lol never seen anything like the PP line this morning. Rope dropped at 7:55 and by 7:56 I was in the PP line. Maybe back 30-40 people. They started PP at 7:57. And no one wanted to get on! A few people did ride. The lady in front of me asked me if she should ride and whether she would get reception inside the ride. I told her I would not risk it. So she and her family let people pass her. The CM loading people kept telling people to move forward but almost no one did. I waited at the last turn until 8:01 and no one was moving lol.

I used the same approach as yesterday - clear cache / open app 7:59 / FOM 8:00 - and got BG11. Didn't get the explanation popup today.
