Ripped my pants at the park.

We arrived at the Magic Kingdom for MVMCP, and I was excited. We rode Space Mountain, and I started to feel so sick. I sat on the bench off the exit, and then needed to lay down. My pants must have caught the edge. As we were walking out I realized I had the BIGGEST hole ever. It was right under my butt, and went across the entire back of my leg.

My mom and sister tried convincing me nothing was showing, but it was awful. There wasn't an option to go back to the resort to change either. I could have tried to buy pants, but I'm a weird size, not to mention the price! I stopped in at a store to ask for help, maybe tape, and the CM laughed at me basically. At that point, I started to get upset. We finally decided to try first aid, and they had a sewing kit!!!!!! Thank god for Linda, the RN there. Also, thanks to my mom who did an AMAZING job sewing them up. We then put tape over the seem on the inside as a precaution, and they help up well!

Moral of the story, don't rip your pants. I can laugh about it now thankfully.

Glad it all worked out. Though it does seem as if dire circumstances warrant it, going back to the resort is always an option.

For me, the moral of the story would actually have been "I shouldn't have ridden Space Mountain!"

This happened to my cousin on RnRC. Except for her it was sooo funny. Everyone was laughing. Yes, the girl at the gift shop laughed too, but since the mood of it was funny already no body minded. She did at least offer some masking tape to help until she was able to go buy some of those $10 million dollar pants. Glad you are able to laugh about it now though! It happens! Although definitely not something listed on these boards to prepare for!
