I just read this new report about Ripley:
http://www.thestar.com/living/article/885760--the-believe-it-or-not-rescue-of-ripley-the-dog
It is shocking how this little dog got into this condition. It brought me to tears thinking of what he went through.
He reminded me of one the first dogs I every rescued many years ago. She was a toy poodle and was so matted, she could hardly walk. We thought she was a grey or silver dog until we shaved/bathed her and found out she was really apricot!
I am so glad this little guy was found. I sent a donation to the shelter who rescued him.

Thank goodness for a happy ending now and then.
They are keeping him at the Vet for about a week for observation. I just watched the video from the latest report and now they also say the teenagers first poured hot wax on the kitten then microwaved it for 10 seconds then threw him in the microwave out the third story window
On a Happy Note they said the phone has been ringing off the hook to help this little kitty and more than likely will be adopted
