RIP Thurl Ravenscroft

One of the best loved Disney voices has passed away. Thurl Ravenscroft, probably best known as the voice of Tony the Tiger, has died.

Many of you probably know him from his various contributions to the rides at Disney, including the deep voice on the "Haunted Mansion" theme song, among others.

RIP Thurl. You were GREAAAATTTTT!

I guess that's where the author of the DisneyExperience.com got the name for her Haunted Mansion font entitled, Ravenscroft. I did not know there was a connection, I just thought it was a supercool name.
Now that I know, yes, I agree, it's a loss. God Bless his family
