I knew you would post that. I met Jack several times - my uncle was a good friend of his (politically motivated). A very classy guy. And a very good QB.

I too, met Jack Kemp two times - both in D.C. - just a handshake & not a conversation.

Al...we only had two uncles that I know of and I don't believe either one of them ever met Mr. Kemp. Are you speaking of DW's uncle - or maybe one of our great uncles??

Becky's Uncle Wayne......

I'm stillnot sure I've met all of her family! Her aunt just passed away - 91 - been in a nursing home for 20 years or so -no one remembers when she went in. Bad diabetes - been blind for a long time.

I used to live in Kane, PA where Chuck Daly lived for many years. He used to come around town once in a while and this little town was quite proud of him. I met him pumping gas at the mini mart near my house (I was pumping my own gas, not him). They used to have a sign coming into town proclaiming Kane PA as the home of Chuck Daly. To be honest, when I moved there I had no idea who the guy was.

Some idiot's here on 93.3 reported on twitter yesterday that Patrick Swayze had died. It was on several shows yesterday until his publicist finally said he wasn't dead. I hope him all the best in his treatments and that he might be able to beat this.
