RIP. I like her song "Killing Me Softly" but think that Lauren Hill and the Fugees did a better job. Her voice was too happy for the song.

The first time I discovered Roberta Flack was when I was in The Wherehouse looking for new music and I found Roberta's album Roberta from 1994 and I bought it and was surprised at her voice and if you want to hear a song Roberta Flack can sing really cool look at her cover of Sweet Georgia Brown. And it's easy to see how she can turn the Harlem Globetrotters theme song into a jazzy treat. Roberta also sang As Long As There's Christmas with Peabo Bryson from Disney's Beauty And The Beast The Enchanted Christmas as well
