Reducing his career to Mufasa and Darth Vader, as so many obituary headlines have done, is an insult to a classic actor whose career spanned 60 years.

Not unlike recognizing Gena Rowlands's recent passing by highlighting her appearance in The Notebook.

The very first thing I thought of when I heard he died, was his performance in Fences. And then, yes, admittedly very close after, Darth and Mufasa.

In honor of the passing of James Earl Jones I encourage everyone to give their Darth Vader plushies big cuddles and think of James as you cuddle your Darth Vader plushies close to your heart. I started cuddling my Darth Vader plushie when I heard about this story and it kept me from being sad. Even though he's gone James Earl Jones and Darth Vader are still my crushes
