I am heartbroken - Chandler was my favorite "Friend". Although he had been clean for a bit, I imagine all those drugs had done a number on his body.
I'm surprised people are shocked by this. It is a terrible thing but I'm certainly not shocked given his previous lifestyle.
Probably semantics and the definition of the word "shocked" what can differ per person as it is an emotion.I'm surprised people are shocked by this. It is a terrible thing but I'm certainly not shocked given his previous lifestyle.
He definitely had his demons.I'm surprised people are shocked by this. It is a terrible thing but I'm certainly not shocked given his previous lifestyle.
Yes, exactly. AndProbably semantics and the definition of the word "shocked" what can differ per person as it is an emotion.
Even when you can "foresee" that a person with his background will die earlier than most people, then it can still be unexpecting and shocking or surprising when it actually happened.
I had it with my father, it was no surprise when I got the call, but it was still shocking when it actually happened.
I am more surprised that there are people who have never seen friends.
Yes - I also read it last year - powerful, riveting - warts and all, he truly shared his challenges with the world. I was amazed at what he had been through - all while giving Emmy award winning performances on the series and in movies.I read his book and it was one of the best depictions of living with addiction I have ever read. He almost died several times, including when his colon exploded a few years ago due to overuse of painkillers. He was in a coma and was not expected to survive at the time but he did. I was really pulling for him. He had been helping other addicts get sober.
