Not many details about his death, but definitely one of the early pioneers of television.

Dave Ramsey just talked about this on his show.

He said that Mr. Linkletter told him the story of his worst financial mistake.

He had a crazy friend that was trying to get him to invest in property in a certain area, because it was gonna be a great investment. His worst mistake was not following his friend's advise.

The friend was Walt Disney and he was trying to get Linkletter to buy up all the property around Disneyland.

i would have never guessed he was still alive....born in July 17, 1912, died may 26, 2010....wow....a very long life..

i remember watching his show with the kids all sitting around in the chairs....
