That is so sad. I miss Comedy Warehouse and Adventurer's Club so much!
I wish they could have kept those two places, and demolished the rest of PI. I didn't care for the other clubs at all, and I understand why Disney closed them. However, I will never understand the reasons for closing Comedy Warehouse and Adventurer's Club.
A related story is that during the Christmas season for the past two years, they have presented daily Comedy Warehouse improv performances (with some of the original cast,) not at the DTD venue, but at DHS in the Premiere Theater. (Bottom of map, below.)
We don't know if that will happen again this year, yet. Stay tuned.
We saw the Holiday Comedy Warehouse show in DHS this past year. It was a great activity, something different. Great family fun, I hope they continue with it!
It is not much consolation, but reports are that the Adventurer's Club building will be repurposed and used as part of The Landing so we won't have to see the AC building being demolished at least.

I'm sorry since I've not kept up with this, but what is the Landing? And I hope you are right about the AC building, even though honestly I think my heart breaks just a little every time we go by it. What about those wonderful furnishings and decor from the inside? I suppose they are gone forever I would love if there was at least a tribute to the AC in some way in whatever is going in there.

Thank goodness for that. I still have some vague hopes that AC will return in some form or at least that we will get an East Coast Trader Sam's. I believe some of the things in Adventurer's Club went to Disneylands in Hong Kong or Tokyo.
(Darn it.)
I love Adventurer's Club never felt like I spent enough time there.

The Landing will be one part of the entire Disney Springs project.
I would not be surprised if the Imagineers place a little "nod" to AC somewhere in the repurposed building similar to the Mr. Toad "nod" in Winnie the Pooh, etc.
