CHAPTER 20 – THE POLAR BEAR DIP
Jambo everyone! Lauren is a very busy lady and I am just far too antsy to get this TR moving; so I have decided to jump in on her behalf and bust out some chapters for you all.
When we got back to the hotel the main pool was full, and when I say full I mean just standing in the water with no possible way to move. Thus, the waterslide was out and our hunt for our own private oasis commenced.
On the way back to our room Lauren wanted to get a photo of her jumping in mid air (she has those moments). After many maaaaany shots this was the best one we ended up with; apparently our camera is not high speed enough for that kind of jumping action.
We got changed and rendezvoused with the rents to make our way to one of the many secretive pools scattered throughout the resort. While searching through the resort we saw this adorable couple that were a blast from the past.
Found it!!!
Ohhh what a hilarious sense of humour I have. Not impressed? Neither was the fam jam.
Eventually we wandered around long enough that we found a secret little pool (in the middle of a bunch of hotel rooms of course) and it was completely empty. Dad spent most of the time in the chairs on the side of the pool, but the three girls spent this time to swim it up even though it was freezing out.
Once we were finished we realized we had wandered around the resort trying to find the pool for so long and no one kept track of the way we were walking. It took us twice as long (running while soaking wet through freezing cold weather) to make it back to our building. I don’t even know how, but eventually we made it!
We showered and got ready for our dinner reservation that we had that evening.
Where will we go; and how delicious will it be???
