The pics of Trent & Jamie are so cute! The Minnie Mouse backpack was a perfect gift for Valentine' Day. They looked like they had lots of fun!

I think they did. He did say it was every bit as crowded as a summer trip, though, so they didn't do a lot.

Lots of prayers that Trent makes it home safe and sound. The mom in me doesn't like the driving at night thing either.

He said he won't start out late. I'll just be glad when I hear the door open early in the morning.

Congrats to Jamie and Trent...what an adorable couple...I am out of the loop so I didn't know they were engaged....but how cute she got a Minnie backpack!!!
I am so over this winter weather....its cold and blowing and we got a dusting again today. brrrrrrr!

The girls finally went to school today...the first time since Fri 5th! Here they are saying Happy Valentine's Day to Brooklynn and Bella!!

How cute! They are such sweeties. We'll have to get these girls to meet someday.

Not engaged, but they seem to be crazy about each other, so that's a nice start. We'll see what the future holds for them. They have a lot of the same interests and both have fun-loving personalities. They both seem to be focused. And they both like Disney.

I know how you feel! They'll probably be on the phone a good portion of that drive so maybe that will keep him awake - an he's probably still going on adrenaline after his meeting this afternoon! It sounds like he was pretty excited!

He said he got a good feeling from both guys he met with. We'll see.

we're home...i'm slowly trying to get back in the swing of things...house is a disaster area...high laundry piles i'm slowly tackeling.

Trip was good...COLD!! I got bronchitis in the middle of the trip but luckily my mom had a z-pack on her...so it could have been worse! Caleb did really well and ended up falling alseep in his stroller so we did not have to go back to the resort for naps which was good.

I'll have to go through my pics and pick some out to show you once i get more organized.

Hope Trent and Jamie had warmer days at WDW than we did! But at least we missed the majority of the snow but got another 4-5 inches today.

Sending good luck his way in regards to the job prospect- fingers crossed. Is it for a position with Disney? or just in the Orlando area. I have a cousin that I was really close with that moved down to Lake Mary over 15 years ago and she absolutely loves it down there. I was supposed to move with her but I chickened out. I love visiting her though- it is soooo pretty where she lives.

He is driving home as we speak. It'll be an all night journey.

Yes, we had Monday and Tuesday, so it'll be our second three day week in a row. I could get really used to this.

Jamie saw Trent and Jarvis being crazy on the Disboards, I believe. Possibly when they were in the Backlot Tour show? Anyway, her mom said she had a crazy daughter, too, and they should meet up. They met in Gainesville and have been talking ever since.

Sorry you were sick on the trip. Jill and I talked about it while you were gone - that it wasn't the greatest weather for Caleb's first trip. I hope you still had an awesome time, and we will look forward to seeing pictures and hearing about any magical moments you might have had.

Not with Disney. He's a personal trainer, so it's with a place that's pretty big down there, I believe.

It'll be bittersweet for me, of course. We will sure miss him a lot, but we can't fault him for wanting to take an opportunity for a good job and a sweet girl. We'll just have to be creative. We'll take a few trips a year down there, and they can take a few up here, and we could meet in Pensacola or somewhere maybe once or twice. When you add all that up, and with everyone as busy as they are, we'll get used to it. I have a friend with a son in Hawaii, and she only sees him once every couple of years. I would hate that! Another friend has a son in North Dakota, and she rarely sees him. Trent being in Orlando, if that happens, will be much better than either of those situations, so I consider myself lucky. He's a very grounded young man, and he won't make a move that he doesn't fully believe will be a good one for everyone. We'll just wait and see what happens and deal with it as we always do - the best we can.

No, it's not a Disney job. I'm sure he'd be happy working in a Disney fitness center, but I think this is a better deal. He felt good about the interviews - he went yesterday for an interview and then again today for a follow-up, but nothing has been set yet.

They seem to have hit it off very well. They have a of of the same interests. Jarvis and Brandon, Trent's big buddies up here, are sad about the possibility of him leaving, but they're already planning trips to Florida with a free place to stay!

If he does, then I will try my best to get in the four trips a year that I'd like to take anyway. If I could do that, and then he could be here 2-3 times a year, and then meet halfway 1-2 times, I think I'll be okay. Sometimes we don't see each other for a few days but for fleeting seconds, if at all, and that's with him right here. His schedule and mine are so different, and we'll pass each other on the road sometimes and wave. I'll want to see him at least once every month or so, I know. If he would have gone to college, I would have already been through this transition in life, but with his bad accident and him ending up staying at home, things just fell into place for him to stay here. We get along fine, so there was no sense for him to go pay for another place to stay. On weekends, he and Drew both stay with friends often, and the house is quiet, so I have already sort of been preparing for the day when they are both gone.

Well, at least they have the basics in common!

I think one of her friends said something to her about finding someone who liked Disney, too!

They had a good time getting chased by dinosaurs and such. I have not spent a Valentine's Day at WDW. It's one holiday that will be hard to mark off the list, since we're in school. This would have been the year for me to go, since we had the two extra days off, but we didn't know about them in advance.

I am so jealous Trent got to spend Valentine's Day in Disney - I LOVE Valentine's Day - its such a romantic day to spend with a loved one and even more wonderful in such a magical place! How lovely that its a sort of DIS romance! Wishing them all the best!

My hubby told me the other day he wants us to start trying for a 2nd baby in January 2011 and if we are lucky enough to fall pregnant quickly, then our trip in Summer 2011 might be off - as there are regulations in the UK (and probably other places) meaning you can't fly after 28-weeks I think it is.

I have told him we either put off the baby making until after Summer 2011 or we cancel that trip but he HAS to take me to Disney this year!!!

My kids are my best treasures in the world. I would have had more, if the circumstances had been different. Good luck in that pursuit. It will be so much fun to share future Disney trips as a growing family.

Yes, everyone but Drew has an AP. He's never sure if he's going or not, but this year, he's gone a lot, so we wish we would have gotten one!

Room discounts- we've gotten rooms at $59, $74, etc. and I can't think of any time we've gone that we didn't get at least a few dollars in discounts. Also, if you get the Tables in Wonderland card, it helps tremendously with meals. We have been very happy with having AP's.
