I remember you telling us about that secret place but forgot to check it out, not forgetting this next trip though.
I can't blame Snow White for stopping to play with Bella, that little doll baby is simply irresistible!

I did get out for the first time since Friday morning. There were still big ice patches, and that was in the daytime. The sun has gone down now, so the freezing will begin again.

I am dying to see my doll baby again, too. I think they are coming up this weekend so we can go to an activity at the Disney Store at Cool Springs. Jill said she is clapping her hands, but she holds one still and brings the other one to it. I told Jill to video her and put it on here for everyone to see. You tell her, Wigd; maybe she'll do it for you!

Wow! Another snow day! So very sad to hear there was a fatal accident. I hope that you are able to hunker down and DIS all day long tomorrow!

Thanks for sharing your secret place. That is very generous of you. I will be trying to keep that in mind for future visits. Very good tip. But shhh... I'm not telling anyone.

It is supposed to rain, so that should help wash a lot of this away. I am not comfortable driving in the snow and ice, so I won't be out unless I pretty much have to be.

Yeah, maybe I should tell the CM's there that no one gets to the secret place without a special signal or handshake or something! Anybody got something we can use?

We have another snow day here too- the roads were verrry icy this morning. There was a lot of melting today but it is expected to freeze up again tonight and that scares me .

My mom and Andrew are safely in Disney- but it is pouring. They did not get the room they wanted or anything even close to it at All Star Sports so Disney is moving them to All Star Movies- although did try for Pop but it is completely booked up . She just called and sounds so disappointed- the room she is in has not been rehabbed and said it feels old. I hate when vacations get off to a rough start.It completely zapped her Disney mojo for the night- they had plans to head to DTD and get me some Bath Bombs form Bain but now she is too beat. She is going to try and convince him to eat at the food court and do some arcade-ing! I gently reminded her of the bright side - they are in Disney and I am not.

Sorry to hijack- back to business. I loved the new batch of pics! Bella in jail made me laugh out loud she's just smilin away as usual...and how nice to have your own personal princess!

Your secret place rocks! I will have to make a pit stop and check it out- I don't think I have ever been in there before?

We got another snow day tomorrow as well. For Monday their make up day is February 15 and for tomorrow their make up day is this Saturday. I don't know yet if it will be a full day or a half day. I'm sure they'll send something home on Wednesday. Enjoy your time tomorrow!

We found your secret spot in October. It was such a nice quiet place. DH and I had the best time taking pictures and acting goofy. I'm glad you are getting another snow day. I am loving all your updates.

I have a trip update. I had mentioned that we were going to Orlando in June but DH was wanting to do something other than Disney We had planned on going to Universal and Seaworld. I was sad because to be that close to my favorite place in the world and not go was torture. Well, pixie dust for us(me). DH got a pincode in the mail and booked us at POR! So I get to go back to my happy place June 4-10. We have only stayed onsite one other time at ASMovies so I am super excited to stay at POR.

Glad for the snow days so we can have updates but sad that the bad weather leads to fatalities. Like DisneyJoo said previously, here in the UK we had just a sprinkling. Seems like no-one expected it so roads weren't gritted and I saw an overturned car on my way out yesterday too. Thankfully by the time we headed out everything was melting away. Hope for everyone's sake that Spring is on the horizon.

And thank you MeMom for sharing your secret place. As a family with two little ones I think we'll be heading that way too. Always nice to find a quiet corner of the world.
One of our treasured memories from our last trip was taking a stroll around the campground and enjoying the boat ride across the lake.
We're looking for more ideas like this and haven't done much resort hopping yet, any thoughts?

Keep us informed about what your mom and Andrew are doing, please. It'll be fun to picture right where they are. I bet he had fun just eating and playing in the arcade to start off the trip. Maybe they'll get to Basin today.

After staying in rehabbed rooms at Sports and Music, I felt the room we stayed in at Movies seemed a bit old and dingy, so I know the feeling. We still had a great stay, but the room was definitely not as bright and fresh and clean as our other All-Star stays.

Trent has been driving all night. He just called me from Nashville, so he's almost here. He said the interstates are fine.

Most of the pictures you see of me will be when I am taking a picture of something else.

Bella was definitely awake more during this trip, and it was fun to watch her take it all in. She still just closes her eyes and goes to sleep whenever she is ready, though, in her little pouch.

Go through the gift shop at Tony's to the back. We've seen Pluto several times coming through there and just various characters. They come out of a room in the back of the theater area.

Port Orleans is so peaceful. The boat ride to DTD is nice. Are you only going to Disney World now, or are you still going to Universal and/or SeaWorld? Aren't pin codes great???

I think you will enjoy having that quiet place with your little ones. They can run around a little, and it's a good place to eat with no crowd.

Oh my goodness! My heart just sank when I read this! I'm so sad for them and you. I don't know them personally, but they seemed like such a sweet family in your pictures. And how sad for Luke. My parents also got divorced when I was even younger than him, and that is very difficult even when the parents are civil. I will keep their whole family and you in my prayers. I hope something will change for them and they can work it out.

I guess we were typing at the same time earlier, since I didn't see this. I am in a little bit of shock, I guess, because we kind of came to know them through your reports. We will keep them in our thoughts and prayers and hope things stay as good as possible for everyone involved.

I think working at Animal Kingdom will probably always just be a dream for me. My other dream job would be getting babies/children from overseas orphanages to their adoptive families here in the states.

thanks to both of you. this has been going on since about september but i didn't want to spread their business on the internet. the divorce is all but final now so i figured it would be okay to tell you. i don't want to give too many details but let's just say it's been a struggle for me as far as some of their actions. nothing horrible but stuff that they know better about. anna is a smart girl and i love her but there have been times over the last couple of months that i could have just strangled her....and for the most part i told her so. but we are still very good friends and, like i said, i'm there for her no matter what. we actually just got off the phone a few minutes ago. and of course chris and i are still very good friends, too.

memom - i think you'd be soooooo great at both of those jobs! who knows....maybe someday!

The singers on Main Street just take me back to simpler days gone by, so I love it when I get to see and hear them. I always enjoy them, and I always think about where I am at that moment as opposed to being out in the real world. I think this is just one of those times that really make me so aware of how different a day in Disney World is than a day out in the real world.

I love those brown mickey purses! It's one of those, don't look too closely and it's a regular purse, but we see all the not so hidden Mickeys.

I've never seen you super secret hiding spot before. That place is awesome!! I am fairly certain you'll find the Mops there on our next Disney trip (slated for early Fall '10/ or late late winter '11, depending on which Mop you ask!) I love the Main Street performers! We always run into them on early MK mornings too!
