Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

I enjoyed Drew's pictures. I can see why the one of Bella is one of Jill's favorite.

I love Disney World fruit. Those Cape May pictures made me want some watermelon and strawberries.

I can't wait to hear all about Bella's birthday party.

I put up January 1st pictures on photobucket last night and there are some Pop ones as well as the ones of us in ponchos. Check again!

Okie dokie. I'll check it out in a few minutes.

Ah, an elephant hiney to start my Monday! So ironically fitting, wouldn't you say?

Why did you focus on the back end? It's a perfect side view!

Actually, it's just whatever I got when I snapped. :upsidedow

:lmao: Considering the morning I've had so far I'd say it's very fitting!

Elephants do not cause bad mornings.

Do they?
If they do, I apologize. :goodvibes

thanks for the spelling. i was too lazy to look it up! i figured kimono was incorrect as that's something a japanese lady wears. anyway, i love lizards and frogs and even snakes, but for some reason those freak me out. i think it's their size. i've actually had nightmares about those things!

i would say that an elephant hiney is a great way to welcome in the week. :rotfl:

I actually missed the Kimodo dragon part. I forgot it was on. I turned the TV on and saw the guide scrolling through and turned right to it when I saw it.

Jill the fireworks videos were great to start the morning, but the elephant hiney from MeMom fits my morning better. Thanks for the enjoyed viewing of both, because anything Disney is a good way to start a week.

Yes, anything Disney is good.
Even if it is gray and huge and wrinkled and possibly muddy with bugs flying all around it. :)

Drew's pictures are awesome!

Owen sure enjoyed the pictures and videos from Disney Live.

Love the elephant's rear, that's how my Monday has started! Hannah woke up throwing up, but never had a fever and is acting fine...hoping it was just something not agreeing with her.

MeMom, we didn't have any big plans for spring break...tried to talk Ben into letting me go to WDW alone, but he said no. :sad2: If the weather is warm enough, we might take the kids to the zoo on Friday after we get our family pictures taken. But we haven't had professional family pictures taken since Owen was born. We're a little slow....

Don't blame my elephant on your sick baby! It was um, too much, um....maybe ice cream at the bowling party? I hope whatever it was, it's all gone and our sweet Hannah girl is back to normal! :dance3:

Can't wait to see the family photos. :woohoo:

What an appropriate picture of an elephant's backside on the Monday morning I have to return to school after a spring break trip to Disney!

Yeah, that's a crummy thing to have to leave Disney World and go back to school. One of the hardest days for me ever was coming back from the Thanksgiving trip. We got in in the middle of the night, I got a couple of hours of sleep and drove to school from Alabama, and all day I kept thinking 'Yesterday at this time, I was on Main Street listening to the trolley singers'. :sad1:

The fireworks were just gorgeous , great video Jill :)

MeMom not to sure what to say about your elephant update , keeping my finger crossed that there will be more pictures tonight , not to much on animal butt shots ! :rotfl:

More pictures, but I can't make any promises about body parts. Whatever they show me is what I get!

That's what happened with Kazin. One day I saw him and he could walk a tiny bit and then a couple weeks later he was everywhere! That little guy is fast!

I have some exciting news! I'm probably meeting up with Meg this weekend :yay: I'm gonna be in Boston with my cousin and Meg is just a short subway ride away from where I'll be

I hope that meet works out for you! That will be fun. We really enjoy our DIS meets. :)

I enjoyed Drew's pictures. I can see why the one of Bella is one of Jill's favorite.

I love Disney World fruit. Those Cape May pictures made me want some watermelon and strawberries.

I can't wait to hear all about Bella's birthday party.

Fruit in Disney World is always so good, in my opinion. I load up on it at the buffets. ;) Watermelon is my very, very favorite!

I'm going to work on the downstairs a bit more tonight. Jarvis and Drew worked out in the yard some more yesterday. They talked about the dog show Drew went to Saturday. I found out when I was working out there with Jarvis that he was an Eagle Scout! I never knew that. I was impressed, but not really surprised, because he is such a great guy. We've gotta all be on the lookout for the future Mrs. Jarvis! :cheer2:

We temporarily interrupt your enjoyment of the SIDE VIEW of an elephant to return you to Pop.
It is not 11 anything. It is 8 something. :)

Good morning 2010 at Pop Century Resort in Walt Disney World!

Yeah, it was pretty great to be there, I must say!

Where are all the ping pong players this fine morning?

Can't imagine a better way to start of the year than...

IMG_3306.jpg

a little shopping. Browsing, really.

IMG_3307.jpg

IMG_3308.jpg

On second thought, maybe eating is a better start than shopping.

When the CM saw I was taking pictures, this POP waffle was held up for display!

so cool to wake up for the first time in 2010 and be in disney world!

Bella spots Brooklynn eating something out of a baggie. :)

IMG_3326.jpg

it's like a hawk spotting a field mouse. :rotfl:

thanks for the pictures of the gorillas...you know i love them!

and just once i wanna see a lion up and moving around. they're always being lazy for me.

/
Aw...Pop pics! I now have a love for them. :lovestruc Such a great way to start 2010 I might add.

Don't tempt me with those waffles! They look yummy!

:rotfl2: Bella eyeing Brookie's food. It's like she's waiting for the moment when Brookie looks away and then she's going to swoop in and grab some. :lmao:

Wow, I can't believe how well your Safari went! I was wondering what the rain would do for the animals. That's the first pics I've ever seen of the lion up and moving!

Great pics of the safari :thumbsup2 Wow you got the lions awake!! They always seem to be sleeping when we go by. Enjoyed seeing these pics!!

Jill and Bella look so cute all bundled up under the poncho! So cute! What better place could there be to spend the first day of a new year? Very cool! :thumbsup2 Loved the gorilla pics. They are so fascinating. I'm totally jealous that you caught the lion moving about. I don't think I have ever seen that in anyone's TR before. :worship:

Great pictures!! Elephant butt, ostrich butt, AND gorilla butt..:rotfl: Too many days with 2nd graders I think!:goodvibes

Loved sleeping Bella in the poncho..too cute!

I have never seen the lions move or actually been able to see more than some fur.

Don't forget that I work with middle schoolers 180 days out of the year, so, of course, I focused on the elephant hiney! :lmao:

You know, my mother has always told me that what you do on New Year's Day is what you will spend your year doing...:rolleyes1

Guess I should think about a trip over New Year's to Disney to ensure lots of visits.

I can't think of a better place to start the new year than at Disney World!

Your photos of the lion are great!

No baby news yet...

I can't think of a better place then Disney to wake up for the first time in a new decade. No early morning walks at POP today after such a late night. What time did you guys get back in the room? Did you make RD at AK? Bella is like my dog at dinner. She won't beg she just stares with that precious little face.
Your AK day is exactly like mine: rain, rain, and oh yes, rain! No fun but no crowds.
Bella is too cute inside Jill's poncho. What a fun safari! I got of lot of Elephant behind too during the rain safari. Elephants sure like to show off when it's raining.:lmao:

This will be a busy weekend, anyway. Jill won't get here until Friday evening, Saturday we will be putting together a party, and Sunday is Easter. If you do ever decide you want him to do some pictures, we'll work it out.

Hmmmmm....yes! I think I (and my entire family) just realized that this weekend was Easter :rotfl:. And my mom just informed me today that we (her side of the family) wouldn't be doing anything, my husband will be leaving to go to the Masters for a day, with my uncle (mom's bro-in-law) and his son. Then my other cousin who would be my closest thing I have to a sibling is heading out this Saturday on the Disney cruise line then to the Animal Kingdom!!! Jealous! :rolleyes1 Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you have no kiddo's that hunt eggs or have to get baskets ready for anyone.....but that's soon to change :goodvibes
