Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

Cute pics of the girls going to Disney Live!!!!!

I bet you are excited about Bellarie's party coming up!!

I have two boxes and one bag packed up for traveling on Friday. One box is goody bag stuff, one box is plates, napkins, and decorations, the bag has all my Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals in it. I have also filled 5 dozen Easter eggs for the girls to take to school for their egg hunt on Friday. Mom decorated what she could yesterday at her house. Still on the list - buying the food, making 2 dozen cookies for Brooklynn's class for Friday, making Bellarie's cake, making bumblebee cookies.

Jill....and don't forget your tees!!! :thumbsup2

Memom....my hubby doesn't understand me when I say I see the same 4 or 5 people at work everyday and that's about it. I too avoid the drama and the teacher's room etc. Hmmmmm...I don't talk much either....lol.... :rotfl: Wow you go back to school early! I kinda wish we started the first week of Sept...we don't go back until after Labor Day... :sad2:

I am watching this Life show on Discovery Channel. The animal world is a brutal one sometimes. Parts of this are hard to watch, but it really helps me be able to relate things to my students better when I see this intimate look at animal life.

we are watching it, too. i walked into the room and started watching during when the buffalo was being stalked by the kimono dragons or whatever they're called. i couldn't watch. i hate seeing animals die like that. i know it happens but i just can't watch it. i also almost cried when the baby elephant got stuck in the mud. thank goodness the grandmother was there to help. when they were showing the meerkats falling over from being sleepy i was literally laughing out loud....that was hilarious!!!

Cape May looks really good! Sometimes you forget about all of the different options for meals, outside parks. I want to do more of that, resort hopping!

I'm glad you all had fun at Disney Live Jill. Looks like a fun night out! :) Good luck with your busy week.

We were watching the same thing. Brooklynn loves those shows. I have said it since she was 15 months old - she is going to grow up to be a vet at Animal Kingdom!

I'm getting so anxious for this coming weekend and the birthday party! Did I miss an update, will Trent and Jamie be able to make it?

Look I was calling for you  If you see the close up and compare it you can make out my mickey purse hanging and my sweatshirt on the chair.

Those fireworks had me watching in awe.

One of my friends that went on that trip also was with me at a conference in Houston this past week.
She teaches at the University here - Aquatics and Lifeguarding.

I managed to get my computer out on the way home to watch Princess and the frog and at first she was grading her papers. About 15 minutes in I was sharing my earphones with her and she now needs to borrow the disk so she can catch the whole thing.
That's :wizard:

Fiance is watching it right now!!

I agree..I'm curious what Brookie thought of the characters since a lot of them were face characters.

It gets earlier and earlier for us, it seems, but at least we get out the 20-something of May. If we wanted to vacation early, we could, but I usually do summer school. Besides, we like to have something to look forward to later in the summer.

Kimodo dragons. We just talked about those in my Reading group a week or so ago. The kids found them fascinating. The elephant scene was pretty cute in the end. :) The meerkats falling over - that was funny!

You will enjoy seeing the resorts. I could do that for days! I love to see the architecture of the buildings and all the themed furniture. So pretty!

I started to call you to tell you it was one, but I thought it would make Brooklynn cry, so I didn't.

Looking forward to seeing them! :thumbsup2

I'll trust that you are there.

It's nice that the Disney love is growing in your friend. :yay:

For those of you who would like to see the fireworks here they are.

Cool even just on video. I loved the cheering at the end.

I bet a lot of DIS people were watching that show tonight. ::yes::

Jill, the next thing I am showing is the safari, so let me know if that's what you have. It looks like I have nothing before 11 on New Year's Day, but you can straighten me out if that is wrong.

That's the first picture I have - no morning at Pop, bus ride, or entrance to AK, so you may have something I don't. If not, we'll pick up here tonight.

I put up January 1st pictures on photobucket last night and there are some Pop ones as well as the ones of us in ponchos. Check again!

thanks for the spelling. i was too lazy to look it up! i figured kimono was incorrect as that's something a japanese lady wears. anyway, i love lizards and frogs and even snakes, but for some reason those freak me out. i think it's their size. i've actually had nightmares about those things!

Ah, an elephant hiney to start my Monday! So ironically fitting, wouldn't you say? :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

i would say that an elephant hiney is a great way to welcome in the week. :rotfl:

Jill the fireworks videos were great to start the morning, but the elephant hiney from MeMom fits my morning better. Thanks for the enjoyed viewing of both, because anything Disney is a good way to start a week.

Drew's pictures are awesome!

Owen sure enjoyed the pictures and videos from Disney Live.

Love the elephant's rear, that's how my Monday has started! Hannah woke up throwing up, but never had a fever and is acting fine...hoping it was just something not agreeing with her.

MeMom, we didn't have any big plans for spring break...tried to talk Ben into letting me go to WDW alone, but he said no. :sad2: If the weather is warm enough, we might take the kids to the zoo on Friday after we get our family pictures taken. :scared1: But we haven't had professional family pictures taken since Owen was born. We're a little slow....

What an appropriate picture of an elephant's backside on the Monday morning I have to return to school after a spring break trip to Disney!

The fireworks were just gorgeous , great video Jill :)

MeMom not to sure what to say about your elephant update , keeping my finger crossed that there will be more pictures tonight , not to much on animal butt shots ! :rotfl:

Once it kicks in and she realizes what she's capable of, she'll be everywhere in a hurry!

::yes:: That's what happened with Kazin. One day I saw him and he could walk a tiny bit and then a couple weeks later he was everywhere! That little guy is fast!

I have some exciting news! I'm probably meeting up with Meg this weekend :yay: I'm gonna be in Boston with my cousin and Meg is just a short subway ride away from where I'll be :goodvibes
