I know this is probably difficult to figure out, but does anyone have a sense as to where the price per point line is for Disney exercising it's ROFR for resale purchases? If, for example, Disney is currently charging $180 per point for OKW points, how much would someone have to pay per point in the resale market for Disney not to buy an OKW contract out from under them...$120, $130, $140 per point?

Have you thought about follow the ROFR Thread July to Sept 2021
edit:"This thread can be an invaluable tool for buyers looking for some help when researching the most up-to-date prices for DVC contracts on the resale market, so I encourage everyone to post their contracts when they are sent to Disney, no matter if they are big, small, or in-between "

We can guess, but over the years, they surprise us with doing things that do not seem to make sense. As mentioned, use the ROFR thread as a guide. If you are above the prices that you see passed, you have a better chance of passing, than you do if you are under them.

Too many factors are used when Disney is deciding and they don't want it to be something that is easily figured out.

Price is but one variable. There seems to be a floor, but no ceiling.

There is no rhyme or reason.

In October last year I had a SSR contract in ROFR with double points at $97 per point. DVC was buying back $105 per point at the time and passed on buying mine back. Not an international seller either.

I think there’s a real net range just like the housing market - DVC probably wouldn’t buy back a $140 per point contract if there are tons of $120s rolling across their desks. I honestly think it’s part of what helps them set a market floor - keeping it somewhat random but within a relevent range - just like the normal housing market. Now if nobody was reselling and their only options were $140s and people wanted to buy direct at $180, my guess is the $180 goes up to $200 and they do buy back those $140s.

But again - it does sometimes feel random sometimes…they like to blast that pixie dust when you least expect it. LOL

I’m nervous because I think mine will end up taken. Related: for the ROFR thread, what do you consider submitted? Offer? Acceptance? Signed Contracts?

I know I’m on the lower end. I’ve Done lots of research but my offer went in after the direct price increase and before I read about it. ☹️

People list when they are told by the broker things were sent to Disney.
