We got a call last night from the school saying there was going to be an early dismissal today because the heat index is going to be more than 100 degrees. We are not supposed to have this kind of heat yet. Ugggggg.

I live in Morris County, NJ where it hit 94 yesterday. We took the kids for a walk in the park to get a feel for what our August 15th trip to WDW will feel like. I'm not so sure my decision to save a few bucks by traveling during value season will be worth walking around in that heat. I guess we'll just have to make sure that we're back to the resort pool by noon. Live and learn.

DS's school closed up 1/2 day because of the heat. We're at 97 right now. Never thought I'd pray for rain so soon after our last storms.

It will be 95 degrees in Columbus Ohio today with the heat index 100-105 Im glad i have A/C in my Apartment. My church has A/C as well. Speaking of church next sunday my church pastor is moving the Church service from 11am to 10:15am and we will be able to dress in shorts and summer clothing till september

Speaking of church next sunday my church pastor is moving the Church service from 11am to 10:15am and we will be able to dress in shorts and summer clothing till september

My nieces are visiting their grandma in Columbus right now and my older niece was talking to my sister this morning and told her grandma said "it's not that hot" so she wouldn't turn on the air conditioning! My BIL had to call his mom and to ask her to please turn the air on, he told he'd pay her electric bill for June and she still gave him a hard time, but she finally said she'd turn it on. My sister says that is just how she is, never hot, one year they went on vacation somewhere and my sister said it was so hot whenever you sat you left a puddle, except for her MIL, she said she never saw her sweat the whole trip.

I think we are getting the mix of the heat out east and cold out west here in CO. Mid-70s today. It's supposed to hit the 80s tomorrow and then back to the 70s. Perfect weather if you ask me. Sunny...72.
I would die if I tried to move to a place with that much humidity. I am NOT built for that kind of torture.
