We've got a 4 inch long Froggy hanging out on my rain down spout. :rotfl:

For those of you who would like something prettier, my bee balm is exploding.

That's it. It is going to be another scorcher. Yesterday we hit 96 and today is look pretty much the same. We need a sweating smilie. :sunny: The good news... the dew point was only 54 so, yeah, it's a dry heat. :lmao:

Nice pictures. :)
As for the heat, could you send some my way? either that or I am coming to stay with you. :teeth:

I am sooooo glad to know you can grow bee balm in Florida. I'm going to order some today. Thanks.

I actually found that plant at the Super Wal Mart here in Auburndale. That was last year though and I haven't checked to see if they've got them this year or not. Might be worth a look though.

Hmmmmm, no frogs in the pool this morning. You don't suppose....nah. :rotfl2:

I envy the sunshine and heat you have down your way. I can't believe we're getting rain here AGAIN. Seems like we get one nice, sunny day for every four or five wet rainy ones. :sad2:

Did you plant anything new lately Virgo? Those Cuban treefrogs come in on plants from greenhouses all the time.

We did some gardening this past weekend. We disturbed or brought in (on new plants) a foot long corn snake. It was beautiful. I relocated it to the orange grove. :) Our plants came from Home Depot in WH.

Nope, nothing new in the way of plants. We've grown stuff from seeds though. I've been seeing these frogs since we first moved here so they're nothing new. The one in the photo was just exceptionally big. Normally they top out at around 2 inches.

My cats love it when they stick themselves on the front window. One cat in particular, Cleo, is enamoured with them.

Wow, those corn snakes are gorgeous. Haven't seen anything like that around here, just Black Racers.

Perfect thread.

We are moving to S. Florida in a month and we are moving into condo in downtown Ft. Lauderdale with two very large nice balconies. On balconey is on a corner and faces NE, North and East and the other faces East. I have never been a plant and flower girl but I would like to find some nice plants with some blooms to keep on the balconies. Any ideas what would be good? We have two cats but are going to try very hard to keep them inside b/c we are on the 11th floor and I fear them falling over the edge b/c the like to walk on the railings!

I am so excited!
