Ridley Scott's Robin Hood

Watched this on HBO

I found it odd that when the French where landing on the beaches it reminded me of the opening scenes of Saving Private Ryan

Nor did I. And they looked exactly like the Higgins boats of WWII

Is this a good movie? Bad? Usually Ridley Scott is outstanding, but the Higgins boat thing has me worried? Unless he found some historical information or something, I was thinking RS is usually historically accurate to a certain extent anyway.

I thought it was horrible.

Even my BF who is a huge Russell Crowe fan thought is was boring and stupid. And he commented on the amphibious vehicles too.
