WDW did not let people ride up in the front with the drivers today, since reopening after the accident.
Does anyone know if DLR monorail has been letting people ride up front since it happened?

I figure that if WDW was no longer letting passengers ride up front, DLR wouldn't either. The media that mentioned the restriction said it was out of respect for the family, CM's, and friends of the monorail pilot who was killed, but did not indicate whether or not it was going to become a rule that no guests can ride up front.

well, Disneyland and WDW monorail station is very very different. WDW runs a multi train on one line. Disneyland only runs 2 trains at once. Disneyland does not have a central system, but when one leaves the station the other one leaves as well. so the 2 monorails will NEVER EVER see each other period.

so i doubt any policy will change here at Disneyland. the accident was human error anyways.

Thanks! At least I know when I go to DL that I can still ride up front if WDW bans it for good. I haven't read the boards yet today to find out if they had given permission back for guests to ride up front.
