This year DD4 is finally tall enough for the bigger rides--splash mtn, big thunder mtn railroad, Kali river rapids, etc.

The problem is that we carry around a bag with us everywhere with our video camera, digital camera, car keys, hotel keys, etc. that can't be left behind.

Are we allowed to bring our bag on these types of rides? Or are there lockers nearby? What does everyone else do?

Thanks!!!

You can take a reasonably sized bag on any of these rides. We bring our backpack with us most of the time and carry it right on.

Ok. We either have our video camera bag or a zippered cloth bag, about 12 x 12 inches with a POTC picture on it.

Do you just keep it by your feet, or do you put it next to you, or keep the strap around your arm???

How do you keep it from flying away??

You'll be surprised at how much it doesn't really "fly away". Depending on the ride, we either keep it by our feet or next to us on the seat, but most often, I put my arm/wrist through the strap, and hold on with it wrapped there and lying on my lap. It works two ways....it doesn't go flying, and I don't forget to bring it with me after the ride!

When DD was 4 we were in the same boat...but we definitely still had a stroller in case of a tired princess who may meltdown ;)

I have a Bagallinni that holds all our documents/cards/IDs and my DSLR/lenses. All our other things (change of clothes, ponchos, snacks, first aid kit) went in DH's backpack and that stayed with the stroller when we go on rides.
