Riding ART (Question)

We will be using ART at least half the time we are at DL and was wondering since we need to ride Route #12 do we look for that number on the buses at DL??

I don't know if it's the same, but there should be a number on the bus, or they park in the same place all the time. I think it's actually a color you look for. They did away with the numbers on the buses, I think.

They will give you a letter or color (I think) to look for at the stop and they will tell you where to wait. Just go to the place you're left and that's where you catch your ride back.

Totally, where you depart from ART, that is where you will return in order to leave for your property. I remember that some of the buses had a number, some did not not. When waiting for your ART, so as to arrive at Disneyland,just board what comes by. There are specific bus shelters that you wait at, for ART, being the same as for OCTA.
There is a number at the top of the bus waiting area. Tip: If you would like to go to Target, via ART, board the number 1 bus, at the Disneyland bus and shuttle area, then just reverse your trip, to come back to Disneyland, then go from there.
There are discount passes as well that are available via their website. And you can purchase them as well at different hotels, that participate in the ART service. http://www.rideart.org/ Their website will also show which hotels participate in their program. If yours does not, just look to see which is the closest stop to you. I do not see any good reason as to why you could not just go to another hotel, to purchase these. They are also available Disneyland, near the bus/shuttle area.

The bus stops are numbered so to catch bus 1 You wait at the stop with the number 1. Certain times there is a bus 7 and 7A. In the event that bus route is running and beings they go to different areas ask the driver to make sure. Most of the hotels that are serviced by ART have a detailed -- and color coded--map/ route for stops and pick -ups at the hotel. I use bus 7 and was so happy to find out that it has a stop across the street from cheesecake factory. I can leave the park -- get off at CCF then when done catch the bus again for trip to HOJO.

If you are using for a few days get the ART pass at the Hotel desk , there is a small discount. You can not buy multi day ART passes from drivers.

When I was there in September, each bus had a colored piece of paper in the windshield with a bold black number. That was how we knew which bus picked us up from the hotel.

Right, I did not add that part, for not all ART buses, have those, or have them visible.
