Rideshare to any MK walkway?

I want to have an Uber drop me off somewhere along the Contemporary or Grand Floridian walkway so that we can walk to MK. I got a message that only Contemporary guests are allowed to place Contempo Mobile orders, so I can't count on using that to get me through the Contemporary gate to the walkway. Can't get a Wave reservation. I heard there was a cop at that intersection that would not allow Uber drivers to drop off riders there. Is there anywhere else I can get my Uber to drop us so that I can avoid the TTC and walk to MK?

You can walk from TTC, but it's about a mile and a half via GF.

I don't know whether the guards at GF are less averse to Uber than those at CR.

There's a cast parking lot across the street from GF that has a bus stop which I think is outside the traffic gates. They might be able to drop you off there. The entrance is about halfway between the GF entrance & exit. There's a crosswalk with a signal at the north end of the lot.


IMPORTANT ETA: I goofed on the above map. Actually you have enter the bus stop at the traffic light at the north end of GF. I drove by today to verify it. It is signed "authorized vehicles only", so it would be up to your driver whether they're willing to drop you off there.

Sorry, TTC it is. Guard shacks have cut down on people doing this. The convenience of walking to the park is for people actively spending money at those monorail hotels.

So to clarify, The best way to see sun rise, get exercise and be at park for rope drop is to walk from TTC. … so an uber/ Lyft drop off at GF, BLT, POLY would be prohibitive, but an early am uber/Lyft drop off to walk from TTC through these resorts would be OK… then the question is how early can I get dropped of by uber/Lyft at TTC

Approximately an hour before official park opening time.

I would not recommend doing this, there are designated rideshare drop-off/pick-up zones for a reason, and most Uber/Lyft drivers will only drop you off there as that is the proper procedure for MK drop offs.
