Hi we go in under 3 weeks so I'm trying to plan our days if I can and need advice on rides suitable for 3 and 5 year olds. Last year we went on buzz, peter pan, small world, carpets, dumbo and slinky but I'm wondering if any of the bigger rides are suitable for us? POTC and crush were closed last year but fingers crossed they will be open this time, are they suitable? And which others would you recommend?

When dd was 2 half she was on pirates and phantom manor as well as all above now shes 4 we are hoping for thunder mountain. Dont think she would be brave enough for crush yet :) Dont forget casey junior and payes les contes de fees (spelling lol)

Is Casey jr the train? What's the other one? I don't remember seeing the last 1u mentioned. Is POTC and phantom manor scary? I think PM may be closed anyway whilst we are there. I will measure and c what they can go on.

the storyboats ride is right next to Casey Junior - its a boat ride in the open air around mini scenes from Disney movies. Lovely ride, suitable for all the family :).

Its going to depend how tall your children are, whether they can go on any of the rides you've mentioned. I think Phantom Manor is beautiful, but its very dark in places, so it could be considered scary.

On BTM and Tower of Terror especially I've noticed the CMs are rigorous in checking height for children before letting them on the ride.

The other one is the boat ride, goes around the minature lands. Its in the same area as casey. Pirates isnt particularly scary, can be a bit dark going through the queue area, phantom manor is a lot darker when you first go in. We just said they where silly boys and she was happy enough could be different now shes older. Ive been showing dd youtube videos of thunder mountain to get her excited about it :dance3:

That's a good idea I will have a look on you tube for an idea. Last year was our 1ST time and it was quite busy so there seems to be lots of rides we missed, will hopefully be quieter this year and I'm better organised!
