Woo hoo for a DIS meet. So fun that you guys got to pull off a phone booth prank together. The last time I answered the phone in Epcot the person on the other end told me I sounded drunk. The worst part was, I wasn't even close.

Nice low crowds. That's why I like Oct. Cool and you can really take your time and not have to worry about crowds.

Yes, Jonathan and I enjoyed our October trip last year with the lower crowds, but it sure wasn't any cooler!!! I'm thinking I need to plan another fall trip sometime in the near future.

As for DISmeets, I always meet some really great people! Well there is Glenn, but then he had a really great family to make up for it!!!! (and I found a Judy too......)

There are some posters on here who have those numbers, although I think a few of them have changed. I think Tanya had them in her speed dial!!!

Thanks for taking us along with you and Tanya on your DIS meet and hidden Mickey Hunt! So good to know Tanya is feeling better!

I think she has made a lot more positive progress since then, but it was really great how much better she was feeling after her transplant! She went through quite a lot before that and I am so happy she is getting to enjoy life more........

It was really great getting to meet Tanya, and spending some time with her. I thought the prank call went really well considering we didn't discuss it and just ad-libbed our way through!!!

So funny Mary Ellen! Yes, I hate when you get accused like that and you aren't getting to enjoy the benefits!!! The phone call was a lot of fun and so was meeting Tanya! There were quite a few more DISmeets before this TR comes to an end. I hope to meet a lot more great DISers in the future!!!

I remember reading about Tanya! How cool that you managed a Dismeet and that she's doing so well. I was worried that actually meeting you might send her into some sort of shock or something but whew, seems she managed it well.

Drew is too stinking adorable, are you sure you're related?? Kidding, kidding! He does have a great eye too, you should pay him for those Dismeets.

Love the telephone prank! Good one Tanya! And of course Marv, you could be counted on to play your part. I would've loved to have seen that group of people trying to figure out what the heck was going on!

Looks like fabulously low crowds too. We did an October trip a few years back and holy heck was it HOT! Like 95% humidity at 7am. I was surprised by just how hot it was, especially for the end of October.

Lots of cool HM's too! Good job. I like the garden maze one and the drain one. I never noticed those ones before!

As we left the fountain and started towards World Showcase I hear a voice say Marv??? I look up from my conversation with Drew and there is Tanya (mom3sonstt), the person I was on the way to meet up with. She had texted and knew where we were, so she had headed our direction. I wasn't expecting to find her yet so she caught me a little by surprise. After a recent successful kidney transplant, it was great to finally meet Tanya and see her moving around so well.

So glad you could meet up with Tanya!

As I was standing there surveying the area, Tanya pulled out her cell phone. She searched through her numbers until she found what she was looking for.

Fantasic job with the phone prank! That sounds like it was absolutely flawless!

I wonder how many people are so focused on getting across that bridge that they never even notice the work of the Disney Imagineers???

Love the details. I'm always amazed at the work that goes into the things that most people don't notice.

Once in France we quickly located this HM in the hedges.......

Low crowds that day but it WAS the recommended park. It didn't take long for the heat to get unbearable.

October can really go either way. I have had hot weather as well as a wake up temp of 42.

October is my favorite time to go.

With fall aproaching quickly here (today it is really chilly outside - should have worn a coat walking to work), I am thinking back to last year when I was in the last planning stages for our October trip (which included the fabulous DISmeet with you and Jonathan!)...

However, you really missed the cooler days last October. As soon as you had left, it became cold! So cold that on our last days we did not go into the water at the pool and when sitting outside, wanted to sit in the sun.
