Rides for MNSSHP

I'm not clear on this...are all the rides open or just certain ones?
Specifically, is Space Mountain open?

Just a heads up, so you're not disappointed-sometimes the rides are "offline" for part or all of the party. We were there last year and Big Thunder, Space Mountain and The Haunted Mansion were all down. Haunted Mansion came back "online"-but the other 2 did not. We were really disappointed-but what could we do?

Are you saying they were closed voluntarily or they were down due to mechancal issues? Mechancial issues can happen anytime, you always have to be prepared for that.

At first we assumed that it was mechanical for all but then we were in the store by the Haunted Mansion and overheard a Cm calling what we assumed was a higher up and they said "We need to open HM. Then get CMs from where ever, but people are getting angry!". Now I can't be positive of course, but it sounded like a staffing issue more than a mechanical issue. Which we found sorta strange-you have a special hard ticket event and not the staff for it??

Who knows-but it's disappointing either way, with what they charge for the MNNSHP to have 3 rides down for most of the night.

I would be more upset with a staffing issue, for the price you pay for the tickets. Especially with 3 popular rides. If you have a staffing issue, close less popular rides.

I think having any ride closed for reasons other than technical is not acceptable for a ticketed special event. Whilst I realise extra effort is made with different parades etc $ for hour these events are considerably more expensive than standard park admission and all the usual and standard attractions should be open IMHOP.

The hard ticket events and special parties always have rides, restaurants, and shops, that are closed. I assume it's a way to reduce costs and increase profits.
