Rides for big people

I'm a big girl (300) and I fit on everything at MK, however it was rough getting up from the go carts ride, you are sitting flat on the ground with your legs straight, I was with my friends DD 14 and hopped right up but I am sure it wasn't elegant.

Universal on the other hand was a different story!!!!

I'm glad to read all the rides at Disney are Pooh-size friendly. My BF is a big guy. But what about Universal is a problem? We're planning on doing IOA one day (we're both HUGE Harry Potter fans), and now this has me a little worried... :worried: If we have to skip rides, we will. I would just prefer to know ahead of time to spare him any possible embarrassment.

He is 325 pounds, but he is solid. The rides that he tried and were an issue were with the "pull down" restraints. Harry Potter FJ, The Hulk Roller Coaster, The Drop (don't remember what it was called), and The Rip/Rocket. It wasn't because he was "fat" It was because his chest is big, the restraint wouldnt come all the way down. I felt so bad for him, especially after we waited almost 2 hours for HP. I have been to Disney twice with him and he was able to ride EVERYTHING, including RnR, which has the same type of pull down restraint. If we would have known BEFORE we paid the $120ish dollars for a one day hopper, we would have turned right around. It was a waste of money for him.

Disney is fine on all accounts for big people (I'm 5'10, 300 lbs.; DF is 5'5, 250)--on our trip, we had no problems getting into any ride, including Mission Space and Expedition Everest. Sum of All Thrills (EPCOT-Innoventions) and Cyberspace Mountain (Disneyquest) are the 2 exceptions. The one minor issue we had was on Kali River Rapids, where we couldn't sit next to each other because the seatbelt couldn't fit both of us, but it wasn't a big problem.
