Wow, 12 inches is mighty short at birth...

My 4yo is 42" (about average height I think)--48" is way tall for 3. Glad that he evened out a little at 9yo. My 13 yo went from being one of the shortest kids in grade school to being on the tall side now. Not as tall as the really tall kids, but taller than average. I think an early growing spurt.
