Rides for a 1 yr old??

Can I take a 1 yr old on POTC or Haunted Mansion? I know there are height restrictions on the bigger rides but what about the ones that toddlers can go on?

Yes, you can. There are no height restrictions for either of those rides.

There are tons of rides you can do. Winnie the Pooh is a great one because of all the vivid colors.

Here's a list of rides that have height restrictions. A 1 yr. old should be able to ride everything else. My nephew's favorites at 1 were Nemo, Pooh, and Dumbo.

We rode almost everything last year with our 18 mo old. And for everything else, she was my excuse to not have to ride! (I'm not a big thrill-seeker, and I get motion sickness on rides, so I oh-so-kindly offered to sit with DD while DH and DS rode Matterhorn, Space, Indy, TOT, etc....)
You will probably be surprised just how many rides a baby can go on - they've done an amazing job at making sure the Parks can be enjoyed by the whole family!

Yes, there is lots to do for little ones! And make sure you take advantage of the Parent Swap pass so you can go on the bigger rides if you would like to. DD went for her first time when she was 10 mo. old and it was a great trip

You could probally get the little one on space mountain with some stilts... ha. Don't forget all the fantasyland rides...

We took DD last year at 13 months and she had a ball. She rode everything that didn't have a height restriction - POTC, HM, Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear, all of the Fantasyland rides except for the teacups, most of the Bug's Land rides, the Sunwheel (stationary seats), Monster's Inc, Jungle Cruise, and her absolute favorite was Toy Story Mania. She LOVED that ride - hilarious! You will have a great time!

Good point - Bugs Land has a lot of cute little kid rides. My nephew's other favorite was the water play area there.
