Rides can you ride multiple times without getting off?

That doesn't surprise me at all, owing to the separate load/unload areas. I wouldn't expect it ever at certain other attractions either, such as PotC.
It is possible to ride Haunted Mansion thru from the unload area to the load area - guests with wheelchairs/mobility devices load at the exit so that their mobility device is at the exit when they get off.

It is not possible to ride thru from the exit back to the boarding area at Pirates. After boats are unloaded, they go through an opening just high enough for the boat to go through and then go steeply up to get back to the boarding area.

That makes sense. But I doubt the CM at the exit can make the call to allow others to remain on since they can't see the load area and how busy it is. :goodvibes

Late at night is when we have been able to do this most often. We've stayed on the following rides:
BTMRR
Splash Mountain
Spaceship Earth (great to fall asleep at the end of a long night at the end of a long trip)
Tomorrowland People Mover
We go at a very slow time of year and have managed to ride both Space Mountain and Expedition Everest over 10 times in a row, but we had to hike to get back on - rather tiring with Space Mountain, but worth it. :goodvibes

I'm sure they can't on Haunted Mansion.
They know how many guests with disabilities will be loaded and those guests wait until they have been called to load.
So, the CMs at the load area are expecting. Specific number of Doombuggies to already filled when they arrive there.

Back in the days of "E-Ride Nights" (1999), where resort guests could pay $10 extra to stay later in the park, my brothers and I did Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin twice in a row a couple of times without getting off. There's only a short tunnel between unload and load. Of course, "E-Ride" is now Extra Magic Hours, and it's free, and depending on the park and attraction, the lines can either be really short or very long.

While killing time before Wishes, I've been known to take the TTA PeopleMover around a couple of times without any problems. Again, the worst they can do is say "no".

We've only been able to stay on rides where the load/unload area is the same. I know BTMRR and Spaceship Earth for sure, and I think TTA also.

There are only two that I have been able to do that on. Both were late in the evening and there was hardly anyone in line. They were the People Mover and Space Ship Earth. It isn't really the best idea but it worked those times. Especially on the People Mover...there was a time a few years ago when hardly anyone ever rode it. It was always a walk on...not so much anymore.

Trying to tjink back over the years:
MK-Buzz Lightyear, Splash Mountain, People Mover, Tomorrowland Speedway (this was by accident, it was my son's first time driving by myself and he was so busy waving to us he forgot to stop and kept going!), BTMRR, Small World, and although it doesn't technically load and unload the Train-when my son was small I would load up him and Grandpa and we'd ride around and around until they bothe woke up from their nap :)

Epcot- Mexico Ride, boat ride at the Land, Figment

DHS- Star Tours, maybe Great Movie Ride?

AK- the boat ride back when it first opened, can't think of much else

In May when I had my elderly mother in her wheelchair on Buzz, they asked would we like to go around again. Of course we said yes! After the second time, the CM said, "One more time?!" and we said "Sure!" So we got to ride it 3 times in a row. By that time, someone else in a wheelchair had come along, so hopefully they got a bonus ride, too. :)

Buzz has a dedicated wheelchair car - so if someone riding in a wheelchair is not riding in it, it goes out empty.
Because of that, they often do allow guests riding in wheelchairs to ride more than once if no one else with a wheelchair is waiting for it.

We have done this several times very late at night with extra magic hours. We rode Haunted Mansion 4 times in a row and PC 3 times in a row. It was in early March about 2am. They told us if there were anyone in line we would have to get off and go thru the line again but we could continue riding if no one was there. The park was basically deserted--it was GREAT. We rode Kali River Rapids 5 times in a row. On Everest there were 3 of 4 people in line and they made us get off and get in line again--still awesome and gave me a minute to get my equilibrium back! The very last time they let us stay on the ride without getting off before they shut the park down. Totally depends on the cast members working at the moment.

My mind is drawing a blank - what is PC? Can't be PotC, because there is a physical barrier between loading and unloading.

Plunder Cruise?
Pluto Coaster?
President's Casino?
People Cups?
Peter Can?

;)

Wow, thanks for all the responses! :goodvibes

The two I was really hoping for were Spaceship Earth and Haunted Mansion. I'll be at both parks early in my trip for late-night EMH, so here's hoping. :hyper:

Of course, my soul will not be crushed in any way by a "no", but I never worked up the courage to even ask except on the People Mover because the loading areas are so obvious to each other and I was the only person in my set of cars anyway

Now, I just need to invent a time machine so that I can get to ride in the cab of the monorail... :stir:

We did get to ride through once on HM. It was late in the evening during the second parade and no body was going on - maybe 10 people in the stretching room with us, they were lots of empty Doombuggies. My husband asked if we could go again and they said yes. The next time we came to the exit, the CM said no, and when we exited we saw the parade had ended and they had a big line again, so I understand why.

We have ridden at least 5 times in a row on Splash, if not 6, I don't remember exactly. No one was waiting (EMH and I will sure miss not being able to do this anymore) and we were in the front of a totally empty log. We had a blast! We also rode Spaceship Earth 5 times in a row, I think we ran the program in just about every language available that night. DH loves that ride.

We did it once on Test Track. When we came in to unload, the CMs asked if we wanted to go again. The loading platform was empty though, so I guess they were having 'issues' in the pre-show area???

In '10 my niece and I rode RnRC with almost no line. When we got off, the cm said to go through a door near the front of the train. It led to the back of the waiting area, where there was no line and we got right on. Rode 3 times in a row with virtually no wait. Also rode KRR 6 times without getting off in '08.

So, I'm laying in bed last night thinking about my Disney trip (what else? ;) ) And I was specifically thinking about rides I really wanted to do more than once, like my favorite WEDway People Mover. (I know they don't call it that anymore, but that's my personal issue.) When the parks aren't busy, I've kept going on the ride for another loop a couple of times.

Does anyone know if there are other rides that you can do this on? Like Spaceship Earth or Haunted Mansion? :scratchin Or did I just get lucky and find a CM that let me get away with it on TTA? :confused3

If it's not busy we have stayed on and kept riding alot of rides:

Aladdins Magic Carpets
TeaCups
Winnie the Pooh
Peter Pan
It's A Small World
Astro Orbitor
Buzz
Spaceship Earth
Mexican Donald Ride
Test Track
Mission Space

Anytime we have stayed on these rides had either been EMH or really late park hours when it's been raining.

We rode Kali River Rapids 4 or 5 times in a row one year...September, I think. When we finally got off, every single person in our raft was sopping wet. I heard a lady say, "holy CRAP! THAT'S how wet you get!!! I am not going on this ride!" :rotfl:

I can see you re-riding all of those except Figment. Figment has a tunnel between its unload and load area, and it's only big enough for the train to get through. A person could ride there, but if the train were to stop there for any reason, theres no way for Cast to safely get to the guests in case of an emergency.

Basically, any ride without a safety measure or active monitoring occuring, a guest won't be allowed there. (Pirates comes to mind, Tower of Terror, Maelstrom maybe)
