Hello
First visit coming up in a few weeks! I've been advised that seeing Cars Land in the evening is a must see and we hope to ride RSR in the morning, then pull an evening FP for it too. Any other rides that you reccomend doing in the evening for a different perspective ? We have Parkhopper passes and we plan to do rope drop, take a short afternoon swim and rest, then stay onsite till closing. Thanks for any advice!

Lets see....

Disneyland: Jungle Cruise, Tarzan's Tree house, Matterhorn, Storybook Canal boats, Casey Jr., Thunder Mountain, maybe Astro-Orbiter, Monorail.

California Adventure: Radiator Springs Racers, Screamin', Golden Zephyr, Goofy's Sky School, Silly Symphany Swings, Jumping Jellyfish, Grizzly River...

Basically, anything outside!

RSR, Big Thunder Mountain during fireworks is incredible. Matterhorn is great. California Screaming at night is awesome. And last but not least, my beloved Hollywood Tower of Terror, who Disney executives plan on ruining, is great at night.

RSR, Silly Symphony Swings, Teacups, Pirates, Matterhorn, Jungle Cruise are all rides we like to do in daylight and then go back again at night :)

I think nighttime brings a whole new element to the parks. If I had to choose one ride though I'd say BTMRR.

Big Thunder and Screamin for sure. Definetly do ToT at night too as the exterior is totally different after dark.

But Definetly our favorite is Radiator Springs.

Have a a great first trip......DLR is our happy place.

Definitely BTMMR. All of the outdoor rides are cute though. Storybook canal is lovely because they have the fairy lights woven into the arches. Tea Party has all the lanterns lit up. It's really quite nice in the park after dark.

Matterhorn is also very cool. You only get a quick glimpse but the vantage point is fantastic.
Also take a ride on the Monorail for a completely different view both inside and outside the park.

We love riding Splash and Grizzly at night. Most people don't want to ride at night and get cold/wet, so a lot of times the rides are walk ons. We ride Splash during fireworks. You can see fireworks from Grizzly too.
