I allready posted this in the Disney forum but as I'm going to be hitting Universal and IOA i thought I'd post it here too :)

Ok, so as you can see from my ticker this coming August I am going on my first Florida vacation and I was wondering what rides you would reccomend to experience at night.

We will be spending quite a bit of time there so give me your favourites so I can make sure I experience them when I'm there!

TIA :thumbsup2

Jaws :( .....but since it's gone the coasters! However, I have read that it's a MUST to visit HP in the dark. This will be our first trip since it's been completed. Can't wait! The High In The Sky Trolley I would think would be pretty awesome at night to. You should be able to get some neat pictures from above of things lit up.

My vote would be Jaws also, to bad it's gone.:( Another good ride besides the coasters is, Dudly Do Right.:thumbsup2

Mine was the old Dueling Dragons when they...you know... dueled? The train speed was much faster at night after a long hot Orlando day...they really flew!

I'm really sad jaws has gone before I had chance to ride, it was one thing i was really looking forward to, and such a shock when they closed it :(

Thanks for the suggestions I can't wait to try them :thumbsup2

I'm all for anything that means I can get great photos so I'll make sure to give the High in the Sky Trolley a go!

I'm really disappointed the coasters don't duel anymore either, I did watch a youtube clip the other day though and they do seem to be setting them off a little closer together now so at least it's better than setting off at completely different times.

Rip, Ride, Rockit at night is amazing. Hulk is also right up there as the last thing you see coming out of the gamma tube is a lit up Hogwarts castle.

Hippogriff. The view of Hogwarts at night is spectacular.

Jurrasic Park works well, too (altho not as good as Jaws was).

Jaws (RIP)

Rockit (all the lights are fun), Ripsaw Falls, Hulk, Doctor Doom (great aerial view of the park all lit up), Storm Force (the strobe effect is cool), Jurassic Park (scarier).

In addition to the previous answers, I would also add Doctor Doom's Tower Of Fear. Request a park view seat.

Opps. DM has it mentioned in his post.

Jurassic Park now that Jaws is gone. The end is great because you really don't know when you're going to drop. Typically, during the daytime u can see in frotnt of you where you're path goes...not at night....MUHAHAHAHA! :cool2:

Hippogriff. As you are chugging up the incline you get a great slow view of Hogwarts at night up close. At the peak of the first hill you get the best park view.
