I love roller coasters and was wondering if Busch Gardens is accommodating to plus-size people. I am 291 and 5'5" and size 24/26. I have never had a problem with rides at disney but have had trouble at Universal Studios with several of their rides (Ripsaw Falls) and couldn't ride with the rest of my family on hulk and dueling dragons due to the seats. I am trying to lose weight before our vacation the end of May but, not sure if that is going to help much. Can anyone tell me about the roller coaster seats? TIA

You should have been able to fit on the majority of the coasters at Universal with their "modified seating". Essentially its the 4th and 6th rows...you have "fat boy" seats. The seating is the same at BGT as the majority of the coasters are B&M's. Just look for the modified seating.

Thanks. What about the Gwazi ride? Do you think I will have problems with it? It looks like it is individual seats with an individual lap belt. Is that right? Does the scorpion have big seats? I'm not tall, just fat. So leg room shouldn't be a problem except that my stomach is bigger if my legs are closer to my body.
Do you know of any place I can find out about the rides? I looked on themeparkinsider.
