So I have this plan roughly sketched out, and I'm trying to iron out some of the details. Our trip includes me, my wife, her friend, and our daughter. Our daughter is too short for FOP so we want to rider swap it. No fast passes involved. We want to arrive about an hour early. When the flood gates open, where will we get the rider swap? I know it is chaotic so I want to have an idea before we get into the thick of it. After getting the rider swap, will they be able to easily leave the FOP queue and make their way over to Na'vi without too much hassle? I ask because our friend is visually impaired and needs to be lead around and our daughter will be in a stroller. So my wife will have her hands full without me to take the kid. Can she take the stroller through the queue or does she need to park it somewhere. Sorry to make this overly complicated, but I want to have a rough idea before we get there. TouringPlans has the day as a 10/10 if that matters.

At the entrance to FoP the CM should scan their bands for the rider swap, you'll all have to go there together. From there they can walk to Na'vi, there is a nearby stroller parking area. It's a super quick ride and should be almost no wait (we walked right on at park opening). The stroller can't be taken through the line.

We just did this last week. We were at the park for 8am, let us in the park at 8.20am... people were literally running to Pandora. They held us on the bridge until about 8.30am. Then everyone filed into line.... we were partway down the path to Africa.

Stroller stayed with us the whole time, not until you get to the very entrance to the ride was when they left us and we got rider swap. By then everything was calm and everyone was in line since it had probably been about 20 or 25 minutes by then. Then my husband and the stroller took off to do whatever and we went into the actual ride line. We weren't off the ride until just before 9.30am, so took longer than I had expected, but much better than the 3 hour line up we came out to!
