If I have a FP+ and want to do a Rider Swap, does it mean that one adult and child swipe FP+ first, ask for Rider Swap and when they come out, second adult swipe FP+ and goes back in with the same child (at this point the child has no more FP+)?

I've never done the Rider Swap so not sure how it works. Or would all of us go into the FP+ queue together and I'm waiting at the front of the line for them to come back off the ride?

Thanks!!!

The 2nd adult does not need a FP to ride on the swap with the child. You can spread out your FPs this way so your child can ride a number of rides.

You'll go to the beginning of the line to show the short child ;) and then you can wait or go do something else. You can return with the Swap card whenever you want.

For the other rides, you can ride first and then the other adult and child ride on the swap.

Here's info from Doconeill:

My understanding is that the child doesn't have to be too short, but can also be too scared. This is what it states on the disney website. Does anyone know if this is the case? I have two tall kids, that don't want to ride anything scary. My dH and I would like to do TOT and everest With ride swap, but our kids aren't too short...ages 6 and 9, but they both hate thrill rides.

Because you won't know until you get there, you should both have FPs for ToT and EE. The CM doesn't have to give you a Swap Pass because I'm sure a lot of guests do that: 1 FP rider and then the other 3 ride on the Swap at a much later time.

What the website says and what the CMs do is not always the same. If they are too short, you can use rider swap for sure. If they are not too short, you may or may not be able to use it--that will depend on the CMs.
