Rider swap Q?

We are leaving in just under a month for Disneyland

I am going with my parents, my 4 year old, 2 year old and 2 month old. My husband unfortunately can't join us.

My 4 year old is just about 42' so there will be a lot of rides he can go on but the younger two can not. If I took him on with my mom and my dad waited with the younger two kids, does my four year old get to ride again when my dad swaps with us? I seem to vaguely remember each adult gets a rider swap ticket valid for two people but I could just be making stuff up in my head

Yes, I believe up to 3 people can go with the person who is doing the swapping. It is a win win situation for your son. If your mother wanted to go with them, she could.

You will go to the CM at the entrance of the line and tell them you will need a child swap pass. Most of the time, from my experience, they will want to see the child to confirm in fact you do need one, then they will give you a child swap pass which will allow the those who do not ride (up to 3 people) to return to the fast pass line later (or directly after you return from your ride).

Just wanted to add, the number of people allowed on the child swap return varies with each ride. For example, on Space Mountain and Soarin', it's good for two guests. On the Radiator Springs Racers, it's good for 3 people (maybe since the ride vehicles seat 3 across).

Space Mountain is one of the better child swap rides. For most rides, you re-enter through the fast pass line. But on Space Mountain, you get to go up the handicapped entrance, directly to where you load in the vehicles. No waiting!!
