Rider Swap Mission Space

I will be travelling to WDW with my wife and infant son. I want to ride the more intense version of Mission Space while my wife will want to ride the less intense version. Can we rider swap for different versions of the ride?

I would not think that should be an issue, though I am no Rider Swap expert. You will get the Rider Swap pass from the CMs at the front of the ride. When you enter you will declare Orange, and then when your Wife enters, she can declare Green. It shouldn't be a problem.

One note, Mission: SPACE is currently on Refurb and when it reopens there are rumors of some changes. I doubt they are getting rid of the Orange/Green system, but just be aware that there could be some changes made in general.
