I downloaded this today at work and played around with it a bit at lunch. I saw the notice about the beta but dsnt pay enough attention to it. And I can't figure out how to get it on my iPhone. Ant help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I searched the thread for any answers to this and couldn't find any:
What do you do with the Ridemax plan if you get to an attraction and find out that it's down? Do you just skip ahead to the next? Or do a little shopping or coffee break? I'm sure that there must be some commonsense answer here but somehow I can't wrap my brain around it--especially if it's a longer attraction like a show.
We're planning a trip and would like to get as much done, especially at DHS--somehow I find that we always do a lot of backtracking there. And last time we were there the plan went all wrong, we overslept and didn't get to the park until 45 minutes after opening so our FPs for TSM were for 1:30 pm. The kids didn't get picked for the Jedi Training...Indiana Jones was closed, it rained so hard that they cut Backlot Tour short, same with Lights Motors Action, we couldn't get FPs for RnR...my BIL (1st timer) was so annoyed that he said he never wants to go back there. I figured that Ridemax would help us hit the things we want to see there so we can make the most of our time there.
Seems like the July Calendar was up on April 14th, any thoughts on when August will be up?
OK, confusing question--here goes........DS wants to do Jedi Training at HS. How do you configure Ridemax at HS when your need to build in time for a group to wait and get the pass that says what show your child will be in? I can't figure out how to build in the wait time in that line and also how to put the actual show that we will get into the schedule?![]()
2nd, how do you get Ridemax to stop putting in an evening break? I created a plan where we're not arriving until 6 (spending the day at a water park), and the plan has a "break" from 6-7 and doesn't have us going to an attraction until 7. When I change the entrance time to 5, it still gives us an hour break around 6. How can I get rid of this break?
Couldn't seem to find these answers. If they're in there somewhere, sorry. First I've used TouringPlans for their lines app a lot. Never use the plans for DL because we're AP for DL and often just go for a few hours in the afternoon or evening, so the plans aren't that important to us, but we're headed for our first trip to WDW, and I'm planning. I just got Ridemax after reading these reviews and noticed that Ridemax and TouringPlans have opposite recommendations for some of the days for which park to go to on any particular day. For instance on a particular Sunday in August TouringPlan recommends going to MK, avoiding HS, with AK & EP as neutral. Ridemax recommends HS, AK, and EP while avoiding MK. I don't know which to believe. I know Ridemax seems to completely depend on whether EMH are offered that day for recommending a park, while TP uses past statistical data. Any of you actually used both and can give an opinion as to which one is more accurate for a park recommendation on a particular day.

I didn't realize that Ridemax gives park recommendations for each day. Where do I find this info? I've been using TP and EasyWDW for park recommendations to plan which park on which day. I figure if they're both in agreement about best and worst park then that's a good sign. I'd be interested in checking out Ridemax's recos too, if someone could point me in the right direction?
As far as the evening break, I would play around with adding more attractions or a shorter touring time (I'm assuming you've already deleted any breaks in your options too). The reason why it gives you that break and then has some attractions grouped at the very end is to minimize your waiting time. Lines should be shorter for certain rides at the end of the day.
When you open ridemax and your at the part where your selecting the rides you want, down the center is a button marked Tips & Tricks click it. Then a web page will open on the left there is a list of options one being Which day Which park. then you will have 3 months posted with their recomondations.
