Although we've been to the world several times I would like to take advantage of a service that will decrease our wait time in lines. I am sure there is a more efficient way. One problem we've had in the past is the kids pass out by 8 and I always miss Wishes. True they are older now so hopefully that won't happen. Anyway, after reading TGM vs Ridemax, I think I want to go with Ridemax. Here are my reasons, tell me if this seems to be the right choice. I love the idea of customizing it, simply is best for us. The 3 month window beforehand doesn't really matter. I can read the DIS as far in advance as I want and get great info. We stay at Shades Of Green and therefore do not have the dining plan. We probably will want to book some evening ADRs. Will I still have time to do that after I make my park plan with Ridemax? Also I really don't want to spend the extra money on park hopper. This is a budget trip for us. Can ridemax customize if you don't have the park hopper? Sorry this is so long

I think RideMax would be a great fit for you. Good choise. As far as park hopping, I never park hop. I think you can take full advantage of the Fast Pass system if you stay at the same park. Let me know if you have any other questions. I am a planner and have used TGM and RideMax.

You make each plan for each park so hopping has nothing to do with RideMax. If you were hopping, you would just start a new plan with the time you would arrive at the 2nd park.

You are also not limited by how many plans you make. So if you add an ADR you could just make a new plan.

Yes, but you will want to make your ADRs before you use Ridemax to plan your park strategy. Then you can just tell Ridemax when you need a break for dinner (using the time of your ADR) and how long.

As others have mentioned, Ridemax maps out plans per park, so whether or not you have a hopper doesn't matter. You just tell Ridemax how long you plan to be in each park (say 9am-4pm) and what rides you want to ride, etc. It does the rest.

how far out should you buy Ridemax? My trip is beginning April 22'nd, is it too soon to purchase it yet?

You will be fine, April is up already but May is not yet. This will allow you to play with real dates for most of your trip.
