Ridemax question

I just signed up for Ridemax for our upcoming trip the first week of March. It is only showing the ability to make a touring plan through January 31st, even though the Disneyland website shows the schedule through the first few weeks of February. Does it always have such limited info on Ridemax? Anyone know how often they update?

I don't know how often they update but I think my dates were up about 30 days before we left. You can start playing with the program right now. For instance, you could put together a plan that includes your top ten rides and plug them into a Friday and see what it gives you. This will give you a pretty good idea of how the program works, and if you choose a busy day it's also not going to change too much (depending on what rides are down, of course).
Have fun!

Yeah, I think it's usually up about 4-6 weeks in advance. You don't want it sooner- Ridemax adjusts the program based on most current wait time data, park hours, crowd projections, etc. I'm not really sure how they do that, but making your plans as close to your travel as possible will give you the best results.

As PP mentioned, you can certainly play around with it to get a feel for things. Choose a date that is similar to one of your travel dates and make some plans. (But then go back a week or two before your trip to make your "real" plans.)

I agree with what Nala83 says. I bought Ridemax a few months ago and I am not going till March. I figured I'd be able to do most of my 'real' planning in late Feb., early March - but I've been doing my 'fake' planning since I bought it (for fun:laughing:). Playing around with it really gives you a feel on how many rides you should enter, how many breaks and lengths of breaks, etc.

I'll probably try several itineraries in the end and keep them all to stay flexible.
