I purchased Ridemax yesterday. When can I expect it to show the dates for my November trip? Since it's less than three months and Disney has now posted the opening/closing times for my trip I thought that I'd be able to begin planning with Ridemax but apparently not. :confused3

Probably Nov will be available by about Oct 1. Even if you could run Nov now, you would want to wait until closer to your trip because RM sometimes updates data after it is originally posted.

I have played with it for our Nov day trip, and just used the same days of the week but early August dates - which were still available this week - because I would guess early August will be similar to Thanksgiving week when we will be there.

If you are going during a different Nov week, the crowds will likely be less and the park hours shorter accordingly. Try to find dates that RM has which has the same days of the week and same park hours. You can experiment with that.

But, once again, no matter what experiments you do ahead of time it will be best if you run final itineraries as close as possible to your departure.

hydroguy- I took your advice and made up a RM spreadsheet of all the wait times for each ride.
I set it up for the Monday that we're there 9/23, which is an EE day.
Are the rest of the days that week pretty much going to be the same or will the non-EE days be dramatically different?
Do I need to make a spreadsheet of wait times for each day?

Thanks! :goodvibes

I'm going the week-end before Thanksgiving so I expect it to be crowded but hopefully not completely packed. (I’m praying that a lot of the crowds decide to go during Thanksgiving week and week-end after but I’m probably not so lucky huh?)

It looks like the end of September has the same hours so I'll try that. I need to learn how to work RideMax.

I have found that unless there is a special event, RM assumes weekday EE days to have the same lines. And non-EE days are different, especially in the morning and especially the EE rides themselves. The other non-EE rides tend to stay the same whether there is EE or not, which makes sense. I think RM assumes weekends are then busier than weekdays.

From week to week, the numbers might change, but within a given week the above holds true.

So what I end up doing is basically creating an EE and non-EE day wait time list, and then just use that for the week.

Since DCA does not have EE, all of its weekdays are pretty much the same as far as lines, within a given week.

I would love to know how far into the schedule Ridemax lets you plan right currently, can someone who has already subscribed let me know the furthest date out available right now?

Thanks Hydroguy, you just saved me a lot of extra work.
I enjoy playing around with Ridemax so it's not really "work", but now I don't feel like it's one more thing to do before our trip.
I'll make an EE sheet and a nonEE sheet and call it good.
I haven't even really played around with DCA yet.

I showed my niece(21) how Ridemax works, she loved trying different scenarios with it.
