RideMax Problems

Let me first say that I have used RideMax in the pass and found it very valuable.....

But, I purchased a years subscription a couple if weeks ago and started to play with making plans for my upcoming trip...

First, I realized they never realized that California Screaming is. Discounted from the FP again. I posted on FB, waited, no reply, I emailed them...finally after almost a week they got back by posting on there wall that they fixed the problem.

Now I noticed that they had me getting a fast pass to Haunted Manson. As it has been reported here DL currently does not have the fasspasses for HM this year. At least not yet. I again posted on FB...and emailed. I haven't heard back to either one and we leave soon.

Has anyone had a problem with unresponsiveness with RideMax lately? They have always been so great in the past!
 
While I was writing this they did get back to me on FB....they will have it fixed by the end of the day!!, yah! :)
 
This made me laugh because I was having problems with RideMax yesterday and after running it twice I realized that it was my own computer settings messing it up! One of the kids must have done something to the Internet settings and I didn't realize it.

Glad they fixed the problem! I've been pleased with them in the past also.
 
To clarify, glad they fixed the problems you mentioned. My problems were obviously needing to be corrected by me.
 

Our last trip to DL we decided to do the 3 month (I think) Ridemax subscription.

We did it for one day only and flew through the park. It was amazing!

For our next trip we will only have 2 1/2 days in DL/DCA so our partial day we will "wing it", one day we will Ridemax DL, the next we will Ridemax DCA. Just to make sure we get on all the rides we want to get on.

I thought it was well worth the cost!
 
I have had good success with RM in the past, but after purchasing it for our upcoming trip in November, I have decided to scrap it and just go with the touringplans tool. I love what RM does well, but there is just too much they don't do now that we have to play with our plans over and over and fake steps to get it work, that it's just not worth it... IMHO
1) RM will not let you plan in shows. They recommend you just go to see Aladdin during a break period the RM builds into your plan.
2) They have no ability to plan in EM hours into your plan
3) While I respect their desire to take Sunday off and not go work up a plan, their suggestions on how to "fake" a Sunday plan have met with mixed results for us

Don't get me wrong, I actually like the way RM builds plans the best... but after spending hours trying to plan in break times to coincide for WoC, or times for Aladdin show since their plan never left a break that would work to fit it in, or monkeying around with a plan to guess what Sunday would be like, or trying to pick the rides I think I will get in during EM, then remove them from the plan and cross my fingers it works... just too much work on our own for a plan we pay $$ to do it for us :rolleyes2
