Ridemax and Fastpass Enforcement

Is Ridemax worth using with the new FP enforcement? Thanks for your input!

I was wondering the same thing. Subscribing to hopefully get a review from someone who has used it since the Fastpass changes (enforcement).
We used it a few years ago and it worked perfectly as long as everyone in our group was willing to follow the schedule!

I haven't used them at DL since they started enforcing FP return times. But, I did use them last summer at WDW when FP return times were enforced and they were great.

We used it again just this past May, and it worked just the same as it had in August 2011... Brilliantly.

Thank you for responding! We leave in just a few days and I'm leaning heavily on Ridemax for my morning plan.

We used it in March (right after the enforcement started) and it worked great. We don't always follow the plan exactly, but I do look at it pretty frequently and it was pretty accurate on knowing when our FP window would happen.

At the end of the day, the way I look at it is that I spend a few thousand dollars to get the family there, I might as well spend $15 to make sure we make the most of our time. At the very least, it allows me to let the kids decide where their priorities for the day are going to be and it's awesome for conserving walking time around the parks.

I so agree with you! I purchased Ridemax several weeks ago and have been playing with it. I just didn't want to rely on it too heavily if it was way off with FP's. I'm really hoping it lives up to its reputation! Thanks for your input.

I used it (July 31 through August 3), and it was working well for us. I do tweak our plan when there, though. For example, we do early admission and then reshuffle the remainder. I love my Ridemax plans!

I would think Ridemax is even more important now that you have to plan out your FPs.

It looks great on paper! My plan is to not use the runner option, but I will still run and get FP's. I read on here to do that and it does seem to cut down on the park crossing. I've got a plan to come up that has me and my DD's (4 & 6) running to get Indy and Splash FP's at the appropriate times while everyone else does ST and SP. While on that side of the park, my daughters and I can do Taran's Treehouse, the Tiki Room and Pooh. It gives us about an hour and a half before we would meet everyone else at Indy to ride it. It'll be perfect if it works out.

Thanks for all of the feedback! I'm excited to start using Ridemax to plan our trip in 2 weeks!
This will be our shortest trip ever, so I want to make good use of our time there

I guess just to show you how much I like using RideMax, I read this forum almost every day, I've been a member for like 3 years, and that was my 4th post on here.

In all honesty though, I think it's the best think I ever learned about on these boards.

Bump ... still having good luck with Ridemax and FP enforcement? How are Touring Plans' customized plans doing with FP enforcement?

I got RideMax last summer for our June DL trip and they were enforcing FP times then. RideMax worked PERFECTLY.... I am also using RideMax right now to make our schedules for our May trip next month...

You just have to keep an open mind and not think the RideMax plan is set in stone.... You do have to be flexible and go with the flow at times...

We always use Ridemax. We used it last July as well as in December. It worked great. We will use it again this July. We never go without it. My kids always ask me if I got the schedule. They love it when we pass everybody up in the line and not have to wait that long.
