RideMakerz in DTD

I looked on the website and it says that the store in DTD is closed for refurb. Does anyone know when it went under refurb and more importantly when it will open again? We are heading to DL the weekend after Easter and my son is sooo looking forward to making his own car.

Any info would be fantastic.

We were just there EXACTLY one week ago. Ridemakerz was open then. I had not even heard of this place until then. We were walking through DTD (on our last night in California) waiting for our dinner ressies at RFC when we saw this store. I don't know who loved it more, my DH or my 10yo DS. DS was so sad that he didn't know about it, and he had already spent his souvenir allotment. Otherwise he definitely would have made a car.

Actually, now that I think of it, I DID overhear one of the employees say they would be closing soon and would be opening up in a larger location. I wasn't completely paying attention b/c she was talking to DH while I was looking at the cars.

One of the employees told me that exact thing. I am not sure when they are opening but I heard something like May sometime. I cant wait to build a super charger.

We walked by it last week and I think the sign said it was closed until June. It might have even said mid-June.

We were there last Sunday, which was their last day until sometime in June. The workers there didn't have an exact date, just sometime in June.

Ridemakerz last day was March 14th we were just there. and Closed the 15th until June for refurbishments. They are moving to a bigger suite. I loved my experience there but the price was a bit much we got the works and it was 87.00. But my son did have a blast and we will do it again just won't get the works.

I was there on the 13th and they were still open, my boys got a kick out of this store!
