Ride waits in September????

Dh and I are taking our kids to WDW September 11-13. We'll be spending all 3 days in MK. I know this is probably a hard question to answer, but I was wondering how long the wait time is to ride the more popular rides (Jungle Cruise, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Pirates, etc.). We'll be heading to MK early every morning, but since we'll be there only 3 days I'm guessing some of the rides we'll have no choice but to ride during the busier part of the day. So, for those of you who have gone in September...how long did you have to wait for the rides? Thanks!

That should be a very good time to go. In fact I believe that is one of the slowest times of year to go. That is after summer breaks and before the Food and Wine Festival and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party start in late September/October. Many rides will be walk on. Get to the parks early at opening, even during super busy times of year you can get a lot done when you go early. I would ride Dumbo first thing, that ride is incredibly popular. Peter Pan and Jungle Cruise both have fastpass so you can always ride those using that. I think you will have a great time with minimal waits. I also see that is a Monday-Wednesday. So you should be fine. In fact, are you sure you don't want to try another park too? You might get so much done in MK you will want to try out another. But then again, 3 days at MK is pretty awesome! Have a great time!

I also have a trip planned at that time in September! Whohoo!

I went last time from September 12-16 and it was awesome! The longest we stood in line was maybe 10-15 minutes -- most rides were walk on.

You will have small, if any waits. We went during this time, and did notice, though, that a lot of rides would close at odd times during the day. The CMs would just say closed. I found it hard to believe that they all broke down - DH thinks they do small maintenances during the slower times. Don't know if that's true.

But if you plan on going to MK all three days, you can re-visit anything that's closed on day 1. Have fun!

I have gone right at that time for two years in a row. Many times we walk right on to many rides, even Dumbo. The weather is usually great atlhough you may have to deal with some rain and humidity. Last Sept. we also had great luck with ADRs. We even snagged a river side table at San Angel Inn without ADRs right after Illuminations. Just pack the ponchos in case of bad weather and go enoy yourselves!

That time of the year is perfect for virtually non-existant lines. I think the longest we've ever waited for anything during that time of year was thirty minutes for Peter Pan. The Mountains (Space, Splash, and Big Thunder Railroad) are usually under a half an hour as well. Sometimes we've literally hopped on Splash without a wait! It's great! Have fun!

I went that time once and IMHO it's the best time to go waitwise (I'd always book for that time but the DH can't take the heat with his MS). There was one day at 2 in the afternoon that we got to ride Splash 3 times in a row without getting out of the boat because there were no lines!

I went in sept hurracine season. No waits at all!

I was in Wdw last summer from sept 10-15 and the wait were wonderful!
Some were walkons with 0 wait times and others were 10 minutes at most.

We were there from September 11 to the 15th. We never waited more than 5 minutes in line. It didn't rain at all while we were there but it sure did get HOT You will definitely want to wear shades too!

We love this time of year!! For the past 3 years we've gone in Sept but last year we tried the very beginning of Oct and what a difference. Because of F&W and MNSSHP...much bigger crowds. We're sticking with Sept from now on!!

We went last year at the end of September and it was great! DH said we will never go at a busy time again. The lines were short and some had 0 wait. We rode the RRC at MGM three times in a row just so we could get a better picture.
