When I was checking in at RPR I was complaining to a guy in line about the name thing at ET. He told me that to the left right before you give your name and are given the cards there is a door that allows access right to the bikes. Can anyone confirm this?

Don't tell everyone about the MIB thing!! Already too many people are figurig it out, and it's almost doesn't do any good anymore! Soon, too many people will do it and they'll start not letting people do this...that will suck!

We do the baby swap as well. I think as long as it isn't busy, nobody cares. Haven't heard about the ET one though.

This kind of reminds me of people that move to Florida and promote zero growth. Now that we moved here we don't want any one else to. We shouldn't tell anyone about the Entertainment Rate because now everyone is going there and the costs gave gone up. Same with the Turkey Lake Road back way.

I can see your point. But I think entertainment rates just like codes for WDW hotels are advertised. Shortcuts into rides are really not intended to be public shortcuts. Any shortcut I have used is because an employee has taken me back that way. When I use a shortcut, I always ask. It isn't a "given" and will definitely be taken away if it becomes public.

I'm always one to give fireworks viewing favorite spots (like upstairs on the balcony of the MK firestation) and yes, it might cost me that spot if it becomes too popular but line shortcuts are really not attended to be public shortcuts. Those of us who have used it have been invited by an employee.

Everyone knowing about the shortcut to Universal via Turkey Lake Road isn't as risky as the other shortcuts. Besides, even though my family knows of the Turkey Lake Rd. shortcut, we don't bother (we're only 7 miles away from Universal...can't be saving too much at all! Besides, traffic is never bad for us when we go anyway).

But, I went to MIB a couple of weeks ago and there were about....10 - 15 people following my parents and I through the shortcut. Nothing was said THAT time, but if it keeps up things will surely change.

As phamton said, we were invited by employees to use it. We ONLY use it if there's little or no crowds in the regular lines (unless we don't realize it until after we get through). But we got actual permission from an employee before. But they invite us to use it, thinking of us being only one small group...not hundreds of messageboard users.

I know you meant no harm; helping out fellow DISers is what we WANT to do! But sharing information that is usually against park rules...it just shouldn't happen. However,if a friend of yours on these boards asks, you can decide whether or not you want to share, but don't advertise it to everyone. Employees lurk on these boards, and if word gets out that this shortcut is advertised and promoted, they'll put a stop to it.

As a teacher you can see the logistics of what means to the annual 8 million riders? I didn't realize that the tip had to come from an employee. My bad! At what point does the internal capture rate for an individual become overly concerned for one's own interest? Did you have to tell everyone about the Baby Alien?

Reminds me of the commercial: I'll tell two friends and they'll tell two friends and so on...

This part has me confused. I first took it as snarky. I tell everyone about the baby alien and any other tips for getting the 999999. I am thrilled whenever someone scores well even if they beat me. I am truly sorry if you felt picked on. That was not my intention and have edited out my posts rather than further offend.

We usually do too...actually, now that I think about it...it seemed like we were following people, ourselves! But most of the time, if there are people, they just look at us and walk through the exit (how do THEY know we don't have a child with us?? Seriously...I think others were mentioning it to people).

Oh, and we HAVE been sent to the Single Riders line before, by going that way. Usually not, but sometimes..

Ah, the elevator! I've went that way over a year ago. Only once though. We even bypassed Express! And that was back in the day when MIB was overly crowded (over an hour wait...they actually used the outdoors line...all the way to the side of the building!!). That was great. And I told told by an employee after we got off. That was a coule months ago. Then a recent trip, one of the MIB employees was teasing me...seeing if I'd get 999,999 again. He'd always tell me to go around that way so I could tell him what I got next.
