Ride the Ducks of Seattle

:Pinkbounc Me, I did. We loved the Seattle duck tours. Loved going under the bridge and seeing the troll, loved actually hitting the 'expressway'(for lack of a better word) in the vehicle. Just loved the whole thing. We got it at the base of the Space Needle area, by the park.

When I first read the title of this post, I thought you meant riding an actual DUCK.

I need to learn not to take things literally. A few weeks ago, my coworkers went upstairs to see the haunted 2nd and 3rd floors of my old work building. When they came back down, they told me that there were bare footprints up there. I thought they meant BEAR footprints and didn't believe them. Finally, they had to tell me it wasn't a "BEAR GRRR.....but BARE naked feet!"

We have taken the ones in Boston and Hyannis MA and enjoyed them both very much!

we've been on the one in Boston,,, sometimes the driver lets a "little one" help drive the Duck when you're on the water... My nephew feel asleep from the lull of the water/small waves.... it was great to Quack at people too!!!

Are these those boats that also drive on land? There was a terrible Duck Boat accident in Arkansas a while back where several members of a family drowned when the boat had problems. Since then, I think they discontinued the Duck Boats in this part of Arkansas. I just saw it on TV a few weeks ago where they were talking about the anniversary of this terrible accident.

I wonder if they have life jackets on them now?

We did the one in Boston--most enjoyable. They even let my hubby drive it for a while when it was in the water! It is fun when the locals quack at you.

The ones here do, they have for some time, there was a problem with one sinking right before shore a few years ago, everyone made it of just fine.

Well, have to say I'm glad to hear that now instead of several years ago when I rode them!!! We really injoyed the Seattle duck tour. Had a great guide. In fact, I have to say that we enjoyed pretty much everything about Seattle, except maybe for the traffic getting there from the north!
