We will be going on what is sure to be a sold out party at the end of october. Right now, I have fp for mickey 330 to 430, buzz 430 to 530 and space 530 to 630. I realize pp gets longer lines and would be a good fp, but I'm trying to consider walking times and backtrack as little as possible. For those of you more interested in the rides (we will do fireworks and possibly 2nd parade), what's your strategy? Is there a certain route that works better for lines? Like heading towards fl first at 4? Any tips? Also, I keep trying for a fp for sdmt, so any strategies for that would be helpful as well. :)

Peter Pan has consistently long lines almost all the time. It is certainly a higher prioity fastpass in my book than buzz or mickey

I have this exact same question. I would want to do the fireworks and parade, some trick or treating, a lot of rides but not much character greets if there are long waits. If one arrives at 4pm, what would be your plan of attack? Priority attractions would be: JC, PotC, Splash, Big Thunder, HM, 7DMT, Buzz, People Mover, any others with walk-on to minimal waits would be pluses.
